"Madison Fayleen Cole!" Uh oh. my full name.

I raced down the stares to the car. I grabbed a heavy box and walked to the house. I carried it up the stares to my room. I continued until my room was a maze of stacked boxes. I opened up the first one I had carried in. It contained all of my snow globes from my dads travels. London, Paris, Africa, Australia, Hawii, Ohio, New York, Michigan, Montana, Washington DC, Washington, California, Connecticut, Utah, Navada, Arizona, LA, Las Vegas, Denver, Oklahoma, Wyoming, you name a place; I got a snow globe from it. I laid them all on the floor of my closet and shut the door to it. I opened up the box marked 'shelves' and pulled them all out. I may be 11 but I can hang a shelf with a level and drill. my dad taught me.  I hung the longest one first and set 6 hammers on it. I needed to make sure it supported weight so my snow globes didn't break.

I did this until I had shelves going around my whole room. I hung them high by using a smallish step ladder. when I was finished, I grabbed my snow globes and began putting them on the shelves. I jumped and almost dropped my favorite snow globe, The one from Paris, when I heard a distant sound. a familiar one. Just through the small woods. It was the sound of a frantic horse and the unmistakable crack of a whip.

I finished puting up my snow globes as fast as I could and grabbed my cowboy hat and riding boots. "Where do you think your going young lady?" I froze mid step at the sound of my mothers voice. I put an innocent look on my face and turned around.

"I wanted to explore. I need a break from unpacking." I said sweetly.

"Okay. don't go to far sweetheart. be back in an hour and a half or we eat dinner at home." she answered.

I gave her a quick nod and ran out the Door. I came to the edge of the woods and saw a worn path. I walked through the woods on the path. then I heard it again, the Winny, only this time it was really loud and a lot closer. I jogged down the path to the edge of the woods. My jaw dropped. The most beautiful horse I had ever seen  was being beatin in a riding ring by the most scummy, Ugly, dirt covered, Fat faced man I had ever seen.

I stood for a while and pulled out my iPod. I clicked the camera app and recorded about 35 minutes if the horse being abused. I sprinted home and plugged my iPod into my laptop. I downloaded the vidio to my computer and then tan to show my mom. she would know what to do.
