I walked over to the pen, pulling my mother. I rushed through the large crowd.

"Now we have a beautiful Palomino filly. Shall we start the bidding at $100?"

"$300!" I yelled out. A man shot a look at me.

"$400." he said

"$800!!" I yelled louder. no one said anything.

"$800? going once, going twice, Sold to the little lady with the big money!" the announcer said.

one down, one to go.

"Okay, Up now is a bay Appaloosa filly. bidding starts at $300."

"$500." I called. the same man as before glared at me.

"$600." he shot back.

"$700."  I glared at him.

"$800." he growled

"$1000." I smirked, knowing I had one.

"Going once, twice, Sold! Congratulations young lady. You just got another beautiful horse." I ran to get Rembrandt and Rochelle.

Rochelle nickered  when she saw me. I led them to the trailer and jumped into the passenger seat of the truck. my mom started the truck and began the drive home.

"I still don't understand why we needed them. Their just animals. They would have been fine with that dude who bid against you." my mom said.

"could you have guarantied that?" I asked.

"no."

"exactly. now let's just get home. I want them to get settled." I said smugly.

we drove home in silence. I couldn't believe I had actually had them!! Now all I needed was to train them!

Picture on side is Rembrandt. :)
