Chapter One; train back to school

Rosie

My hair wasn't in my face, in fact it wasn't even red. My hair changed to a light blue indicating I was nervous.

My first day back to Hogwarts since I took the potion that tamed my hair and made me a Metamorphmagus. I looked in the mirror and saw my eyes were turned the same color as my hair, which was a shade lighter than my natural eye color.

"Rosie! It's almost time to go!" Mum hollered.

"Okay!" I called back. Me and Hugo had packed yesterday after Teddy left.

Teddy's been helping me with controlling my hair and eyes. I took a deep breath and my turned back to my natural hair color.

I grabbed my bag and Weasley jumper and ran downstairs. My cat, Elle, was roaming the house next to Crookshanks. Crookshanks was like a mother to Elle who was still a kitten.

"Mum, have you seen my Weasley jumper?" Hugo asked.

"Isn't it in your closet?" Mum asked, Hugo shook his head.

"Haven't you seen his closet mum? It looks life the Attic of Hogwarts" I said. Hugo stuck his tounge out at me, I just formed my face into a pig and stuck my tounge out.

"Nymphadora?" Mums face goes blank.

"What?" Dad asks. Walking into the room.

"Mum, it's me" I say, changing back to my original face. Mum looked away.

"Sorry, Rosie-Posie, you just reminded me of one of your namesakes" Mum said. "Come on, Hugo, let's find your jumper"

Mum and Hugo walked upstairs. I look at Dad who sighed.

"Nymphadora? As in my middle name?" I ask.

"Nymphadora Tonks-Lupin, Teddy's mother. She died in the Battle of Hogwarts, she was a friend figure to your mother. She always made us laugh" Dad explained. "She was a Metamorphmagus as well, and she loved to make her face look like a pig"

I feel bad. Sometimes being a Metamorphmagus isn't easy...

At the train station, people were in a huge hurry. My family on the other hand were walking rather a reasonable pace. I was pushing my trolley beside Hugo who was exited to start his 3rd year.

I spot Alice and Augusta near the wall that led us to platform 9¾. "Ali, August!" I exclaim. They look over and smile.

"Rosie!" August called out. I smile as I speed up. When I got to the girls, I hugged them.

"Long time no see!" Alice said.

"How was Scotland?" I asked.

"It was okay. My mum's family is a bit annoying though" Alice said. We smiled. When it was time to go threw the wall, we went one by one. Hugo went first, followed by Augusta, Frank, Alice, than me.

The platform was filled with people. Fog from the train fille the floor. Me and Alice ran of ahead to find Ophelia and Dora, Augusta went to find her little group of friends since she was in a year below us.

We found Dora with her family, including her brother Theo, who was one of Malfoys minions.

"Rose?" Dora asked. I smiled. "Your hair looks amazing!"

"Thanks, the potion worked perfectly. Teddy has been helping me control it" I said.

"Wow, weasel, your hair looks.. Normal" Theo Jr stated. I growl under my breath and my hair turned a darker red with yellow, meaning I was mad.

"That is epic" Alice said. I smiled and we waited for Dora to say bye to her parents so we could go find Ophelia.

"Have fun sweetie, don't get into trouble" Joann, Dora's mom, said. Dora hugged her dad.

"Make sure she doesn't Date" Theo tells me and Alice.

"Of course, Mr. Nott" Alice said. We begin to bring our trolley to the back of the platform where one of the train workers takes them.

"That's Ophelia's trunk" Dora points out, the drunk was decorated with carved names, mine was beside hers.

"Girls!" The familiar voice exclaimed. I smile as we turn around and see Ophelia, her hair was a bright pink.

"Elia!" I exclaim, we go into a group hug.

"Your hair!" Dora said. Suddenly Elia pulled out 2 vials. Morphmangus.

"I knewbwe would probably want to be different this year, so I made us some potions to make us stand out more" Elia said. She handed the vials to Alice and Dora. "I also have one for Augusta"

"We can become a Metamorphmagus!!?!?" Alice exclaimed happily. Elia noded, the two girls squealed.

"Come on, we should bored the train" Elia said.

"I'll find you guys in a bit, I have to go say goodbye to my parents" I said. They noded and walked towards the doors of the train.

I walked over to where my parents were. Hugo was saying goodbye to dad, so I was able to say bye to mom.

"Mum!" I say, she looks over at me as I walk over.

"Rosie, are you ready to board the train now?" She asked. I noded, as I did she pulled me into a hug.

"I'm going to miss you mum" I say, I can tell she smiled.

"I'll miss you to, Rosie-Posie" mum said. We pulled away from the hug and she moved a strand of hair from my face. "Go say goodbye to your Father"

I turn and see dad waiting for me to hug him, I smile and wrap my arms around him. "I hope you won't miss me to much, Rosie-Posie" he comments.

"Of course I well dad" I say. He smiles and I move back.

"See you at Christmas, Rosie" mum said. I smiles widely before turning and running off to the same door my friends had entered.

I found them sitting in a Compartment with my cousin Lily and Albus. I hadn't seen Albus since Teddy and Victoire announced their engagement, and that was before I took the morphmagus.

"Rosie?" Lily asked, shocked. I smile. Albus looked over, his eyes widened.

"Ro? Is that you?" He asked.

"I got my hair tamed" I said. "Also I'm now a Metamorphmagus" I change my hair color, causing Lily to smile widely.

"Your like Teddy!" Lils exclaimed. I sat next to Ophelia. I knew this year was going to be different...
