Chapter 3: So long

Rose's P.O.V

"AAAAGGGHHHHHH"

"Rose! What! Are you okay?"

I cry tears of joy as the papers slip out of my hands yet another one sleeps from behind.

The first one has my name on in and the second one... It has Baya's name!! Why us though?? I need to go talk to our caretaker

I run out of the room and rush to her office

*knock knock*

"Come in!" I hear from inside

"Hello, um Melissa." I say as I put the papers up close to her face.

She smiles

"Why? And how? Why us" I say in confusion

She sighs before speaking then takes a deep breath.

"Ms.Perry came over one week ago and as you know wanted to adopt one girl. She looked through all the files and chose you" she smiles once again

"Are you serious? Out of everyone... She chose me"

"She sure did, but then she looked back through the files and seemed really confused and who to choose, wether it was you or Baya"

"Why us?"

"It was meant to be my dear"

"Does she know that we're close though?"

"Yes, and that was part of the reason she's decided to adopt the 2 of you"

I'm in shock. I just couldn't believe this is happening, right when I gave up on anyone adopting me, but now besides Katy being the one adopting I'm so happy that Baya will be with me... A new chapter of life will begin.

"Melissa when will we leave here?" I curiously ask.

"Glad you asked because you two are leaving tonight!"

Tonight??? what?! I better go an get my things and Baya and I better get ready!

"What time though?"

"1 hour"       WHAT

"Thank you for everything Melissa but I better go and get ready" I smile as I run to our room with the papers in my hand.

I ran up to Baya and she just immediately freaked out "BAYACMONGETREAYDKATYADOPTEDUSANDWEBETTERGETREADYCAUSESHELLBEPICKINFUSUPINANHOURANDWEREBOTHADOPTEDOHMYGODGETREADYOURNEWLIFEBASICALLYBEGINSTODAYINANHOURJEEZITHOUGHTIWOULDNEVERGETADOPTEDBUTNOWLOOKATTHISANDYOURWITHMEANDWEREGONNAHAVEAMOM"

"Huh"

I put both my hands on her shoulders and move her backward and forwards
"KATY ADOPTED US AND WERE LEAVING IN AN HOUR"

"She canceled you idiot"

"NO! GO TALK TO MELISSA" I say out of breath as she leaves the room

I immediately grab a duffle bag and throw in all my clothes and things in it.

5 minutes later Baya comes back into the room with tears all over her face.

"Rose?" She runs up to me with tears flying all over her face. "Yes?" I hug her and she hugs me back. "Does that mean we're going to be sisters?" She asks. "What do you mean? We've always been sisters" I say as a tear slips out of my eyes.

She lets go of me and wipes her tears "we better get ready, this is unbelievable" she smiles.

Baya's P.O.V

An hour passes by and Rose and I are ready to get picked up. Once all our things our packed we take one last glance at our room before leaving it, hopefully forever.

"You ready for a new life" Rose asks as we both close the door together. "We're ready" I say as I hold her hand with my duffle bag in the other on my shoulder.

We head to the lobby close to Melissa's office just waiting for Melissa to come.

"Hello girls! Are you ready?" She smiles at the both of us. "We sure are" I grin. "Ok now there's a car already waiting for you. Ms.Perry couldn't come so she sent someone here and I believe you know her"

"Who is it?" Rose asks

"Her name is Tamra Natisin and she'll be leading you to your new home girls"

Rose and I look at each other and smirk.

"Well get up girls! I'll take you to the car"

Oh my god... It's really happening.
