Chapter 13: Outfits

Katy's P.O.V

2 months later

Rose officially does not want to be a part of our family and things I guess have been quite well with Baya except the fact that she gets super mad whenever she thinks about Rose, she never thought she'd leave her or that they'd leave each other, but hey people always have weird surprises.

It was just a regular Saturday morning I guess, Baya is still asleep and I'm just resting in bed since it's only 9 a.m, too early for me to do anything!

Well I've got good news and bad news, the good news is that I've made the whole adoption thing public about Baya which makes her feel a lot more relaxed around me now and the bad news is that the Golden Globes are in a week and for some reason I honestly cannot wait and that weird reason is just triggering, I only want that day and night to be over with, Baya's going to be at Angela's then. So I've got everything properly planned and settled.

Just as I was about to stretch there was a knock on the door, "come in" I say while stretching and yawning.

"Good morning " Baya walks in

" Good morninggg, how's my little munchkin doing?"

"I'm alright but I've got so much homework to do and I just wanna get it done, may you please help me?"

"I'll help you with whatever I can but yeah, you've got to eat breakfast before though" I say while getting up and off the bed.

"Alright, I'll be down" she leaves the room

I wash up and do everything I need to then walk down to the kitchen preparing 2 bowls of cereal. I put the cereal in then poured the milk making my way to the kitchen island.

"Baya! Breakfast is ready!"

"Coming!"

We have breakfast and I later on begin to help her with her homework.

Baya's P.O.V

"Oh my gosh! HOW IS -25 THE Y INTERCEPT I LITERALLY THOUGHT IT WAS X, WHAT?!" I scream at my math papers.

"You alright?" Katy laughs

"I'll be fine when I'll be able to kill the person that made math exist"

"Baya boo, I think that person is already dead"

"Ugh whatever" I try to get done with as much homework that I can get down as possible.

Not until it was 1pm and Katy decided I should take a break from studying.

"Do you have anything planned" I curiously asked cause you honestly would never know.

"Uhm yeah, the Golden Globes are a week away from today so I planned on meeting Johnny at the Starbucks nearby"

"Cool, what time?"

"Eh in 10 minutes" she calmly says while looking something up on her phone.

"Katyyyyy, why do you love being late? It's gonna take me 10 minutes to just change my clothes!"

"It's alright, just go up now, we've got time"

"Yeah yeah sure we've got time" we both laugh as I walk up the stairs.

It wasn't like we we're going someplace fancy or anything. So I just changed into my leggings and a tank top that I literally just pulled out of my closet, along with my black converse that Katy just recently got me.

I walk back down finding Katy all ready to go.

" you ready?" She asks

" yeah"
