Chapter 5: Me, You, & Her

Katy's P.O.V

We all have dinner in the dining room while I ask the girls questions to get to know them better.

"So... Baya... Rose, is there anything you two like to do together?" I curiously ask

" not really since we didn't get to do a lot at the orphanage but Katy may I please ask you a question?"  Rose asks

" Go ahead honey"

"I don't want this to seem rude or anything but why did you pick us?"

" I can't tell you much about it right now but I first planned on adopting one kid but when I read your files I just felt a voice saying that I should get the two of you"

"Very inspiring" Baya yawns. "Oh looks like someone's tired" I tease her. "Kind of, today's been a crazy day, Katy can I tell you something? no never mind"

"Honey you could tell me anything" I smile at her as she shakes her head

"I love you" I drop my fork and a tear slips down my cheek.

" I- I'm sorry, I'll be right back"

Baya's P.O.V

Katy runs up to her room and I just look Rose in confusion

"Did I say anything wrong?" I ask. "No not at all..."

"She's maybe having a bad day or something" I say while shrugging my shoulders

Is this really how the first day here is going.

"Let's go" I say as I run where Katy went.

Rose and I run up the stairs still not knowing where we're going till we realize that there's only one door that's closed.

We knock on it and enter to find Katy laying on her bed with her make up smudged around her eyes and down her face.

I can't stand here and do nothing, part of what I'm feeling right now is a funny feeling... Rose and I have always loved her as fans but we do see her as a mom and would do anything to make her happy... After all who gets to get adopted by their idol right?

I quickly take my shoes off and run up to her then sit down next to her.

She looks at me then gets up and embraces Rose and I into a hug. "I'm sorry" she kisses both our cheeks.

"What for?" Rose asks her. "It's just something happened... John and I, so when you said 'I love you' a lot of things went through my mind"

"I'm sorry" I hug her. "Don't be" she smiles. "But I mean for your information Rose and I have been fan of yours for a while and let me tell ya. Mayer is a Player" I emphasize on just every word at the end.

"Baya don't you dare start! They're literally the perfect couple together" Rose snaps. "Woah is this what it's always like? Then I'm glad I just heard that cause I do need your opinions on everything... Your my daughters now and whoever I be with will effect the two of you" Katy says while still embracing us in a hug.

" well I hate John" I snap. "BAYA!" Rose snaps back. "Okay girls forget about that now, let me give you a tour around the house and show you your rooms, it's getting late!" She says as she gets out of bed. "Um Katy" I say while pointing at Rose.

We look at each other and laugh. If you know Rose then you know how much she loves to sleep and it literally apparently didn't take her a couple seconds after sleeping to just sleep in her place.

"I guess we'll save the tour for tomorrow then" she gets back in bed.

We talk for a while then get changed into our pjs and Katy helped me changed Rose into hers since she was in a deep sleep... That happened often at the orphanage.

3 hours later

I wake up in the middle of the night feeling comfortable sleeping around Katy's arms but I woke up laughing seeing Rose's head on Katy's chest she probably doesn't even know.

She has such this motherly like embrace it feels so good to be around her.

I snuggle in smelling her dreamy like vanilla scent which made me drift off to sleep once again.
