Chapter 26 Part Three

Zoe P.O.V

"Room Service" I heard someone say as they knocked on the door. I wasn't really sure if I was dreaming or not so I went back to sleep. "Room Service'The person said again as he or she repeatedly knocked on the door. "GO AWAY"I yelled as I covered my head with my pillow. After about five minutes I finally decided to get up and see what they wanted. As I wiped the coal out of my eyes I looked over at the clock and noticed it was 7 something in the morning. "This is to early 'I said as I dragged myself across the floor to open the door. When I opened the door no one was their but a tray of food and a note. 'Goodmorning' One of the workers said as he walked pass my room "Goodmorning 'I said before pushing the tray of food into the room. I pushed the tray into the bedroom because I didn't feel like eating in the kitchen. I just wanted to stay in bed and relax today. As I sat down on the bed I grabbed my phone off the nightstand to see if I had any messages. Once I put my password into my phone all my messages started popping up. I dragged the screen down and looked at the all the messages. I had 60 missed calls,19 voice mails and 10 text messages all from Chris. Along with some other stuff which wasn't that important. I felt bad that I was ignoring him but I needed this time to myself. Which was working because all I did for the past two weeks while I was In Costa Rica was go to counseling. Before I called Chris I picked up the note and red it. 'CONGRATULATIONS !!! You are our lucky winner of the day. You have been chosen out of all the women that are staying in our resort to receive a free full package spa treatment today. The package includes a deep full body massage, seaweed body wrap and facial,meni and pedi cure and body waxing it also, includes a free lunch. There is no appointment needed come at your own time,and bring this note. Thank You!!.' This spa treatment didn't sound half bad I could use a full body massage. After I was finished reading the note I laid it down on the tray.I figured I'd call Chris and see how he's doing since I haven't spoken to him in about five days. I picked up my phone and scrolled through my contacts until I found his number. While I waited for him to answer I finished the little bit of apple juice I had left in my cup. "Hello"He said answering the phone sounding as if I just woke him up from a good sleep. "Hey baby Im sorry to wake you I'll call you back later"I said as I scraped my left over scrapings into the trash can "Don't worry about it bae I had to get up anyway"He said. Hearing his voice made me miss him like crazy. The only part I hated about this whole healing process was sleeping alone. "Why are you up so early"I asked as I sat back down on the bed "I have to meet with my lawyer then I have to go to court"He said in an annoyed voice "Wait why"I asked "Remember the day we were leaving the Emergency room and I pulled that guy out of the car that was trying to take a picture of you and he broke his camera well he's suing me for battery and property damage"He said in an exasperate voice. I couldn't believe that this guy was suing Chris when he was the one that was wrong. "Do you want me to come back and go to court with you"I asked as I turned the tv off "Nah I'll be fine thanks though but when are you coming back"He asked. I honestly didn't know when I was coming back I felt a little better but I wasn't hundred percent better. My plan is to go back when I'm hundred percent better and I can handle this whole situation without breaking down over it. "I don't know"I said as I laid back in the bed "What the fuck do you mean you don't know when you're coming back"He asked in an irate voice. "I mean I don't when Im coming home I need time to heal"I said in a soft spoken voice "You need time to heal you've been gone for twenty-three days how much healing time do you fucking need"He asked. I couldn't believe that he snapped on me. "Okay if you're going to act like this goodbye Christopher"I said just before hanging the phone up "Whatever man"He said hanging the phone up before I did. I swear he pisses me the fuck off one minute he's all saying stay as long as you need then the next minute he gets mad because I don't know when Im coming back. As I laid in bed I decided to take a shower since I had nothing better to do. I decided I would dress cute today even though I didn't have anyone to get dressed up for. I grabbed my phone off the bed and realized I had a text from Chris so I opened it and red it "Im sorry for cursing at you I haven't been in a good place lately" "It's fine Christopher"I replied back. After I replied back I hooked my phone up to the speakers in the bedroom,and blasted Jhene Aiko and Tupac while I found something to wear and as I took my shower.
