Chapter 1

"Jiwon...jiwon??! SONG JIWON!!!"

I was awaken by my mother,well I should I said my step mother. She opened the curtains just then, the sunlight flashed into my eyes causing me to block my eyes with my hand.

"Y-yes e-emmoa..?"

"How many times have I told you? Don't call me emmoa!"

"Sorry...Mrs.Lim.."

"Good..now go to take a shower or you will be late for school! "

"Yes Mrs.Lim..."

With that,she walked away and slammed the door.

If you don't know, let me tell you about this. I used to live with my parents when I was still six until one day,my parents had a very important business trip. It was unconvinient to bring them with me. We do have relatives but most of them were too busy and they lived far away. Just then my parents had a friends who are now my step parents,so they decided to ask them to take care of me while they're off. Mr and Mrs .lim agreed but just then this happened. My parents died due to an aeroplane crash. And rightnow,I'm living with my two step parents who were not very nice to me.

In an annoyance, I got up from my bed and did my morning routine. As I went downstairs to where the kitchen were,I saw Mrs.lim quickly hid the pancakes and sandwiches into the cabinet and placed a cover on top of it.
I bet she didn't knew that I saw it but I act like I didn't notice. "Morning Mr, Mrs.Lim! What's for today breakfast?" I greeted them in a polite way. "Sorry no breakfast for today..just a cup of hot milo that's all..there's nothing left in the fridge now.."Mrs.Lim showed a sad expression. "Ohh..I'll just take the hot milo then.."

"Unfortunately, the hot milo just finished not long ago.." Mrs.lim sighed.
Mr.Lim glared at me and turned away after I looked at him.

Well,I guess they probably hate me..

"Good morning eomma and appa!!!"

My body jolted up because of the shock. And yeap it was Jihyun, Mr and Mrs.Lim 's biological daughter. She's same class as me and older than me few months. She aslo hates me,sometimes she blamed me for the whole thing causing me to be grounded. But I don't really care anyway since I don't like to agrue with her.

"Ohh,good morning sweetheart!"

"Morning too appa! Eommaa..what's today breakfast..?"

"Today breakfast? Try you guess ;)"

"Hmm..if I wasn't wrong...then is it pancakes and sandwiches?"

"That's absolutely-"

Before she could finished her sentence, she faced me.

"Umm...Jiwon..."

"Yes, Mrs.Lim?"

"I forgot we still have the breakfast..I thought they were finished..ohh poor you! We only have one pancake and Sandwich left! Which is both for Jihyun because those are her favourite. Would you mind?"

That again.

"Ohh..of course haha! I am not really hungry anyway..y-you can have it, Jihyun unnie..."

"Aww thank you,Jiwon^"

I knew that was an act.

"Jiwon, you can wait outside the veranda while waiting for Jihyun unnie to finished her breakfast. Both of you were going to walk to school together," Mr.Lim smiled sarcastically. I don't like him. Not at all. I knew he hates me too. Finally I gave him a smile and a nod as I head outside.

Sorry, Lim jihyun I'm not waiting for you. I knew you gonna take a long time since you enjoy every single bite as you eat and your makeup-

Shit.

If I don't, she is going to tell them and I'm going to be grounded again..
I waited and waited until it's been 30 minutes already.

Jeezz...this girl is really slow..probably she did it on purposely because this had happened three times.

I got up from the chair just then,I was about to knock the door is opened. Right in front of me,a girl who was wearing alot of makeup that I could barely recognise that was her.

"Ohh,you are waiting...sorryyy dear I was late because I was chatting on the phone with my super duper cute boyfriend and aslo I was getting done with my makeup" she bragged and while apologise sarcastically.

"It's okay unnie ;) I bet your super duper cute boyfriend must be really busy since they're so many girl chatting with him^," I faked a smile and she chuckled. "Hahahhaahahaha...awhh he is always loyal to me~ let's get going before we are late,"
