Sometimes it really makes me cringe when I read poorly written twd fanfic so I've decided to help you guys out.

If you must make your character related to someone on the show, at least give your OC a name that makes sense.
For example:
•the Greenes have very conservative, old fashioned names. (i.e. Jessica, Mary, Gail, Amelia, Clara)
•the Grimes aren't gonna have a child named Darius. They have traditional names as well (i.e. Jack, Griffin, Collin, Emily)
•if you're a Dixon, you're name won't be Stephanie or something pretty like that. It's gonna be a redneck sounding name (i.e. Joe, Tammy, Bobby, Buck, Sharon)
•if your character is related to Amy & Andrea, give them a name that makes sense (i.e. Abby, Ava, Adrian, Alice, Anne)
