How NOT to Write a Walking Dead Fanfic

yes, my beautiful, double chocolate chip cookie, java chip, mocha with extra whip cream, cookie dough milk shake from braum's, cat loving, badass honey bunches of oats, sweetie pie gets her own chapter.

the way michonne is written in most fanfics honestly pisses me off.

there are 3 different ways michonne is portrayed in fanfics:

1: she doesn't fucking exist

about 67% of twd fanfics never mention or hardly mention michonne

michonne is so underrated in general and the fact that y'all don't write her into your fanfics when she is a HUGE part of the show makes me so mad

the show wouldn't be the same without my beautiful mother michonne and when someone "neglects" to write her into their twd fanfic, it makes their fanfics less than desirable

2: your OC thinks they are michonne

your OC should not have a katana

plain and simple

you aren't a badass, elegant, sexy warrior samurai

no one except michonne possesses all these traits

so don't try to steal them from her because news flash: you are unable.

3: she's portrayed as the enemy

when was michonne ever the true enemy

she helped the group save glenn and maggie

if it wasn't for her they would've never made it back to the prison

she tried to kill the governor in season 3 and didn't stop until season 4 when he was choking on his own blood

she saved hershel too and rick.

she did more than pull her own weight and never did anything to compromise the group

she's not perfect, but wait yes she is.

she's the love of rick's life and above everything else, she's a mother to carl and judith.

she loves the two of them like she loves andre and they love her back.

she was a mother to carl after he lost his and she's the only mother judith will ever know

so stop throwing michonne under the bus bc she could literally run you over with the bus
