Kanan Jarrus sat with four other Jedi Masters: Master Depa Bilba, his Master, Master Pathla, Master Redalogio, and Master Thanee. They were on a peacefull mission, negotiating terms for a treaty. As the oldest, and most well behaved (and good looking), he had the expirence to travel with the four Masters, most of whom he knew well.

Kanan shifted in his seat uncomfortly, tuning out the droning conversation and instead 'admiring his surroundings.' He knew he wasn't being truthfull by telling himself that was what he was doing. Where is she? Spotting a group of people down the long bridge he was standing on and near the temple, he squinted against the rays of sun threatening to poke out his eyes.

A tall, tan skinned, male Twi'lek frowned at the Peaceables, they called themselves. All were human, and wore black, flowing cloaks. He couldn't blame the Twi'lek. Something didn't seem right about these people. All his instincts screamed, "TRAP!" The Twi'lek turned, a scowl framing his face, and looked up at the sun. Cham! Kanan felt his heart jerk, and although wanting to kick himself, he scanned the area around Cham, looking for his best friend. If he was here, so was his daughter....

No attachments. Sometimes, he thought the Jedi just lived to make his life harder. Rules, regulations, and a form of life no way he could live up too. He wasn't made like that, he was....different. Shaking his head at his foolish thoughts, he closed his eyes and surrendered himself to the Force.

Senses expanding, he let himself relax. Hera. Something was wrong. She was in danger, they all were. Pacing back to the seat he didn't know he had left, Kanan locked eyes with his Master. "Something's wrong. " He wanted to say.  "We need to leave. "

Author's Note

Okay, so maybe a  little more than a bit AU. But hey, it's a dream! This is kinda something that could've happened in Kanan knew Hera durning the Clone Wars, and this is a different 'Order 66'.

Thanks for reading, may the force be with you.
