five years later..

"daddy! i want nana!" a shrill, whiny voice screams at the top of her little lungs.

"nana's coming over later," luke quickly hushes her up, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "now stop yelling delilah, you're going to wake up your brother.

delilah looks miffed and she starts crawling over to me; hugging my leg and bawling into pants.

"d-daddy! other daddy is being a bully!" she sobs, trying to get comfort from me.

i teasingly glare at luke who puts his hands up in surrender.

i try to prevent myself from smiling but i can't. as soon as i stare into her baby blue eye's that she inherited from luke, i beam. i scoop her into my arms and shower her with kisses which makes her squeal and burst into giggles.

"be a good girl and play with your toys," i coo, letting her back down onto the ground.

"okay daddy!" she squeals, skipping to her room.

"finally. i have you all to myself," luke smiles, pulling me into a tight hug.

i look at him, love flooding my system. he hasn't changed much from when i meet him seven years ago; he's still the same adorable man i adore with all my heart.

i can't believe we got so far. luke and i moved out into a nice, roomy house. it's perfect for a family of five. delilah, our beautiful six year old daughter; noah, our handsome three year old and of course, milly. our cat.

luke kisses me softly; his lips never lost that sweet, addicting taste. i suddenly feel like the giddy teenager i was when i first met luke.

we get carried away. soon, luke's pinning me to the wall and peppering kisses all over my skin. he sucks lightly on my neck which leaves behind a hickey. i grasp onto his shoulders and arch my back, getting closer.

unfortunately, before it can escalate any further, our doorbell rings.

"ignore it, they can wait." luke whispers huskily.

"it's probably your mum. c'mon luke, we can finish this later tonight." i murmur, pushing him away and walking to the front door.

luke frowns but he still follows me like a lost puppy.

"mommy!" luke yells, throwing the door open and hugging his mom tightly.

"hello, mr and mr clifford," she smirks.

she points out the fact that luke changed his last name to match mine. the main reason being that his father told him that he disgraced the family name. luke considered taking my last name as a fresh start.

liz stands there, smiling radiantly. unlike her husband, she decided to accept luke for who he is and sometimes sneaks out to meet the kids.

"let me see the ring!" she smiles excitedly, grabbing my hand and examining the ring under the sun.

before she can say another word, delilah comes speeding out of her room and into liz's arms. noah comes following awkwardly.

"nana!" she screams shrilly.

"baby!" liz squeals, scooping delilah into her frail arms.

milly, our fluffy grey cat hisses at the sight of affection and walks away briskly; her tail raised high in the air.
