Chapter 21

Kates POV-

A week has past since we told jay that I'm pregnant. We had to transfer the information from my Australian doctor to Louis's family doctor over here, so now we've finally got an appointment booked for today. Which Louis and I are actually on our way to now. My very first ultra sound! Just then Louis places his hand on my thigh. "You excited babe?" he asked with a big grin. "hmm, I wonder?" I say sarcastically. "Of course I am!" I smile taking his hand in mine and bring it up to my face and planting a kiss on it. I let it go knowing he had to change gear, and we turned a corner and were there. "Oh my god Lou I'm so nervous!" I started freaking out. "why's that baby?" Louis locks the car looking genuinely worried. "What if something goes wrong?" I ask getting slight anxiety. "Kate, everything will be fine. If anything we've been to good about your health! This baby is going to an angel, just like you!" He praises pulling me into a hug, tight, but not to tight. "Okay" I sigh in relief, he always knows what to say to make me feel better. We enter building, "go sit down babe!" Louis says as he makes his way to the front desk. "Miss Jackson?" female doctor called out. "yep!" i reply as louis and i get up, and follow her into the room. "Hello louis, nice to see you again!" she hugs louis. "always a pleasure Deb!" Louis smiles as they part. "And who is this beautiful woman?" She asks Louis gesturing to me, making my cheeks redden. "Hi im Kate" I smile. "Hello kate, im doctor Debra Williams, but you can call me Deb, Debbie, or whatever's comfortable really. So, what can i do for you two today?" She asked turning in her seat to face the computer, to take down some notes i assume. "Well, im here for an ultra sound. I haven't had one since i found out about that i was pregnant." I answer. "Well first, congratulations! So could you make yo-, wait should louis still be in here? Is he the father, do you feel comfortable with that?" She asked all at once, "Yeah he can stay, and he's the father." I smile at louis who is still next to me. "Okay great. Well could i get you to lay on the bed over there, and make your stomach visible, while i go get the gel?" i nod and she leaves. I stand and lay on the bed, lifting my shirt to the underwire of my bra. The doctor sit next to me on her chair, and louis is on the my other side holding my hand. "Okay so this may be cold, but you probably already know that!" she smiles and squeezes some onto my exposed belly. She rubs it in and moves the X-ray wand around my bump. "Wow, they're doing great! You have two healthy baby's!" She smiled looking up at the screen. "Wait two?!" i ask, oh my god their's two! No wonder im so big already! "Oh you didn't know?! Well see here's baby number one. And heres baby number two!" She gestures to the two figures curled up together on the screen. "Oh my god louis, twins!" I smile, looking over to louis. "i cant believe it!" He smiles tears welling up in his eyes, staring at the screen. 

Driving home i couldn't stop smiling. I have two little humans inside me. They're mine and Louis's baby's. We made them. They're part of us. I don't think iv'e ever been more in love with three people at the same time before. "Im so happy right now!" I was interrupted by Louis. "Really?" I ask. "Of course! We have two little angels together! They're inside you-" he put his hands on my stomach. "im in love with you kate" He smiled and kissed me before he said, "And im not going anywhere. Ever."
