Wise men say life is somewhere in the middle of joy and sorrow,
So was it for us, we have faced quite some game.
Yet have we not lost sight of what waits us tomorrow,
No we have never had to face down in shame.

Maybe we have bowed our heads once or twice,
But it was in apology and never in agony of defeat!
The same has been our aid against all vice,
And the same lays our foundation I'll repeat.

When the tides rode on our side,
We were close at heart and close at sight!
But now the tides have left our side,
Yet we are close at heart but out of sight.

I hear voices around me, 'we' are their topic,
Some say we are meant to be,
Some say this love is Gothic,
As old as old can be!

But no,This time I'm not torn between opinions,
I know what we are and what we could be;
We are just two lovers among millions,
But we are set apart by much more than they ever would be.

I am his joy so is he mine.
What we laugh for is your lameness,
But I assure you they are sweet grapes on our wine!
Nevertheless our secrets needn't make sense to you I guess!

Oh God! Words seem not enough to say it all,
So I lay down my sword for tonight!
But this story will continue until one of us fall,
Dead or alive to some spark bright ignite!

You see, this is what happens when fire meets with fire,
The flames of such love is too great to contain within a wire.
