The Road That Lies Before

I have been to the college where you are now
All these are frail searches, weak attempts to hold on to you
This too was cause of a miraculous project that chose me somehow
All these dreaming, just to somehow hold on to you!

To think that I am beside you, though I am not there
To see a future together, to DREAM, as far as we are together!
I have fallen asleep with you beside me right there
On that grass, at a place near your college where I live, near the heather.

We have woke up together with the morning dew on our face
And the sun smiling down on our hide
That place is my dream, that place is what I embrace
Where all I'll need is a dress to wear and food to eat and you by my side

There, I lie down with the dark brown soil below me,
God has appointed 1000s of angels around me to stand guard,
I see them around me as I fall asleep, I even talk to some with glee
But nothing above me other than the dark blue sky that stretches upward

Kids my age dream of cars and big houses and the list goes on
But I dream of a life in which I own nothing, just love!
So much love to give and take, and so will my life go on
I dream of travelling the world and knowing people down below;

I want to search the deepest of seas just to explore
Everything I have only heard about in books
I want to  learn, but this time for real, and implore
All that drew borders to what's beyond the books

Do you understand now, why I told you I’m wild??
Because deep inside, I want to run free, but I am tied down, I can’t even see,
By so many threads that this society has tied me with from when I was a child.
Now, this is the road I have chosen to learn what none can teach me!

Now tell me honey, Did you know this was how crazy I am when you loved me?
Now that you know,Will you still count me normal and love me?
