There are two things I can't believe. One: Cora is alive. All these years I thought she was dead. The next: Erica isn't. I couldn't believe it. I still didn't believe it when Derek brought her body out of the vault. It finally got to me when we buried her.
But there is no time for celebration or grief right now. Scott, Derek, and I have to find a very rabid Boyd and Cora. We split up, against Scott's protest. Derek went East of the woods while Scott and I went West.
Scott and I stopped. "Where could they be?" He asked.
I shrugged, "They couldn't have gone that far." I went to run, but Scott grabbed my shoulder. "What?"
"Shh." He said. I gestured to his hand that was still on my shoulder. He mumbled sorry before taking it off. He was concentrating on the floor before his eyes widen. "Come on!"
He ran more North and I followed. I heard it. Growling.
When we made it past a clearing we spotted Boyd, who was going to attack some kids. I didn't give Scott enough time before I went and knocked Boyd down. I got up quickly and grabbed the little boy while Scott grabbed the girl.
We kept on running until we couldn't hear any growls and stopped. The kids were holding on to each other for dear life
"It's going to be ok. We got you." Scott told them.
I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair, "Derek's not going to like this."
Scott turned his head, "Why, because we saved some kids?"
"No, because we lost them."
"Do you think he got any leads on them?"
I took my phone out, which I'm surprise has service out here, "Let's find out."
He didn't.
"You lost them?" Derek accused on the other line.
"It wasn't our intention." I said.
"Wasn't exactly the plan."
"Trust me, we know. Scott thinks we should stick together. You should have seem him, Derek. He's too strong, too fast, and way too angry for one person to handle." I glanced at Scott knowing he was right. "Maybe we should do this together."
"Look, I'm at the trails by the entrance to the preserve. Can you meet me there?"
I looked at Scott again, then at the kids, "Yeah, but we need to drop something off first."

After meeting up with Derek, we began running through the forest. Derek and Scott ran towards a tree. They both jumped through the opening with Scott doing a little flip before he landed.
I rolled my eyes as I walked around, "Someone certainly likes showing off their abilities."
There were two sets of footprints on the ground.
"Is it them?" Scott asked.
"We're not the only ones that decided to stick together." Derek said.
"Is that gonna make it easier or harder to catch them?"
"Don't know." Derek and I said simultaneously.
"Derek...I saw Boyd try to rip two little kids apart. Are they gonna do that to everyone they find?"
"Everyone and anyone."
And with that we began running again. Isaac met up with us later. Don't know why he decided to wear a scarf, but that's not important right now.
