I was relieved after the Oni claimed that the Stiles with us is actually our Stiles. My Stiles. Even though I hate that he had to call Noshiko to clarify that this is Stiles and not the Nogitsune playing another one of his tricks. Like last night when he took Lydia from right under our noses. We were tricked again.
The least we could do right now is take Stiles to the police station for a reunion with his dad. That's what he needs right now. That's what they both need. I couldn't imagine what the Sheriff must be feeling over the past few months worrying about his son.
We heard the Sheriff sigh as was about to put his jacket on. "Ah, if I could just find my keys."
"In your coffee cup," Stiles responded, making the sheriff look back. Stiles motioned the the cup. "You always drop them in your empty cup."
Sheriff looked towards me and Scott for confirmation. I smiled as we nodded our heads while I loosened my grip on Stiles' hand so he could hug his dad.
The Sheriff wasted no time and stroll across the office to hug his son. I have never seen the Sheriff so happy, so relieved in my life. He let out a happy chuckle as he held onto Stiles for dear life.
"Hey, Dad," Stiles said as he held on tighter.
Scott went over to the Sheriff's desk. " Is it over?" Sheriff asked.
Scott pulled the keys out of the cup. "Not yet."

The good news is that Mr. Stilinski put out an APB on Lydia's car. I hate that there's not much we can do to save Lydia. The main question at the moment is why the Nogitsune would take her in the first place? What would he want with a Banshee?
"I don't know, Lydia's pretty good at finding dead bodies. Maybe he needs to find a body?" Stiles wondered.
I shook my head. "But if anything he would want to try to find his own body." Which was at Eichen. "So, finding a dead body is out of the question."
"Scott, you know more about this than all of us," Sheriff pointed out. That's right.
"Me?" Scott questioned.
"You said you got the whole story from Noshiko?"
"Yeah, but that happened during World War II. Like 70 years ago." Damn, Mr. Yukimura is dating an old lady.
"Wait. What did you say?" Stiles asked.
"Noshiko told me about the internment camp -"
"No, no, before that. You said, the whole story."
"Yeah."
Stiles started to think. I furrowed my brows. "What is it?" I asked.
Stiles blinked rapidly as he looked at me. "Do you remember Meredith from the Eichen House?" I nodded. I haven't really talked to her, but I've seen her around that horrible place. "I think she might be able to help."

Because of our luck, Meredith was moved to the Closed Unit. The moved her because she wouldn't stop screaming. But we need her now. She could help us find Lydia. Except for one thing...when the Sheriff went to get her, she escaped. Now all we could do is wait to see if anyone has seen her. And for Stiles to get the proper sleep he deserves.
I waited in the McCall living room, watching over him. I felt this huge wave of guilt. It's my fault that the Nogitsune was able to possess him. If I wasn't at Eichen with him, then maybe the Nogitsune wouldn't have used me as some pawn to make Stiles finally let him in. We could have figured out a way to get rid of him. But no, I wanted to be there to make sure the Nogitsune wasn't with him. I failed. It's my fault.
