Not So Great Outdoors pt. 2

We all stood on top of the giant cliff all in our bathing suits looking down at the water. 'What did I get myself into.' I thought while mentally slapping myself.

Previously

"Okay campers, your challenge starts in 10!."

"What do you think it's gonna be?" I heard Katie ask. "It's our first challenge, how hard can it be?" Dj answered giving Katie a warm smile. Once we were all done eating I grabbed my bathing suit and went to the bathroom to see Lindsey with her bathing suit as well. "Hi Lindsey." I said as I walked into a stall, "Oh hi Jodie!" I chuckled a little at her stupidity. "It's Joely, not Jodie." I told her as she walked into the stall next to me. I took some hair ties and pulled my short brown hair into two low pigtails. My bathing suit was a black bikini with a small white skirt. I came out to see Lindsey in a red bikini, I wish I was as skinny as she was, but I'm not.

"You look good Jaynie!" Lindsey squealed. I blushed as we walked out together and trudged up the hill. As we walked I slowed down a little to talk to Noah. "Hey." He said as I looked at him. "So, what made you want to come here?" I asked as we got closer to the top. "I heard about this suicidal show at school. I didn't think much of it but my mom wanted me to be less anti social so I said why not. But someone thinks I'm having trouble making friends." He said in a silky monotone voice while raising an eyebrow. I looked at him and smirked. "Your such a goober." I told him, he just smirked "Your such a meanie!" He said trying to sound offended. I punched his arm as we made it to the top. "Oh [bleep]" I heard Dj say.

I stared down at my death as I saw two rings in the water.
"Okay, today's challenge is three-fold. Your first task is to jump off this 1,000 foot high cliff and into the lake." This is a joke right. A flipping joke. I looked at Noah to see a worried look on his face as he stared at the water. "Piece of cake." Bridgette said to Tyler only to be proven wrong.
"If you look down you will see two target areas. The wider area represents the part of the lake that we have stocked with psychotic... Man eating sharks!" Is Chris out of his mind.

Confessional

"Is Chris insane!! Please tell me nobody is gonna die here. Well everyone but Heather, I can't stand that pasty spoiled rejected Barbie doll!"

"Inside that area is a safe zone. That is your target area, which I'm pretty sure is shark free." Chris snickered a little as a shiver went down my spine. "Excuse me?" Leshawna asked as she was ignored by Chris. "For each member of your team that jumps. And actually survives, there will be a crate of supplies waiting down below. Inside each crate are supplies that you'll need for the second part of the challenge.... BUILDING A HOT TUB! The team with the best one gets to have a wicked hot tub party tonight. The losers will be sending someone home tonight."

On one hand I could screw up and go home or two be helpful and have a hot tub party. I like my second option. "Let's see, Killer Bass, your up first." Chris said to the Killer Bass. I sighed in relief as I looked at Noah again. "Do you think we're gonna survive a whole 8 weeks here?" I asked as he just shrugged. "Don't worry guys. I heard these kinds of shows make the interns do it to see if it's survivable." Owen said trying to lighten the team up. I on the other hand was still pretty nervous about this insane challenge. "So, who's up?" Eva asked glaring at her team, they just stood there until Duncan piped in. "Ladies first." He replied pointing to Courtney. 

This will probably be the one time I hate the ladies first rule. "Fine. I'll go, it's no big deal. Just an insane cliff dive into a bunch of angry sharks. 'Don't do it Bridgette! Make Eva or Duncan jump first! They seem pretty tough.' My thoughts didn't even matter at this point as she jumped. I held my breathe as she yelled while going down, I heard a splash and her cheering like she won the lottery, she survived! Soon everyone on the killer bass was jumping. Tyler jumped after Bridgette, but he ended up hurting himself on one of the floating bell things. Geoff jumped next followed by Eva shouting "Look out below.", Duncan jumped looking like he didn't even care. Once Dj went up to jump he had second thoughts. "No way man, I'm not jumping."
