I didn't remember what time our bonfire party ended but I did remember putting the fire out and heading back to the cabins. When it was time to wake up, it felt like I had a hangover. "Campers! Meet me at the beach for your next challenge!" Chris yelled over the intercom. I groaned and walked over to the beach where everyone was. They smiled and waved at me, I waved back and stood next to Beth. "Today's challenge will test your minds, your teamwork and your skills in the kitchen. "Chris explained. I knew I could win this for my team. I'm in the culinary arts class at my school and I could make some mean Italian iced cookies! I smiled as Chris explained the challenge to us more. We are to make a three course meal for Chris to taste and rate us. "The winner's get a reward and the loser's send someone home." Chris told us. I wasn't surprised by that. "Each team will appoint a head chef to create a theme for the meal and oversee the cooking. To cook, you need ingredients. Every morning a truck brings us food, your task starts there." Chris told us.

We all looked over to see a truck come out of the water with a food label on it and a dolphin as a driver. "What the?" I asked. "I just stopped trying to process, makes my brain hurt." Noah chuckled making me giggle. He was right, nothing on this island made any sense to me. I crossed my fingers and prayed that I was gonna be picked by my team to be head chef. The killer bass walked over to the truck and opened it up to show lots of food, normal food! "We could do a killer Italian theme!" Geoff told the guys. I thought that was an interesting choice for a theme, I never cooked Italian food before besides traditional Italian wedding cookies. "Head chef! Called it!" Heather called out making me roll my eyes. "Can you even cook twiggy?" I asked not facing her. "Yes, I can stretch marks." Heather growled shoving me to the ground.

I landed on my butt and groaned in pain. "Don't listen to her." Leshawna told me helping me up. We walked towards the truck and Heather began to assign us the food we needed to get. "Leshawna: Mango's, Beth: Pineapples, Trent: Molasses, Gwen: Tomato's." Heather called. We all grabbed the stuff we needed and headed to the kitchen. "I'm kinda glad Heather is a head chef, she might try to poison the food." Trent teased making me, Gwen and Noah laugh slightly. "I wish I was head chef, I use to take a cooking class at my high school." I explained to them. "What kind of food could you make?" Gwen asked me. "I was taught how to make mozzarella sticks, stir fry, lemon pie, crepes, noodle soup, and so on and so on." I listed to the group. "Wow. That's pretty impressive." Trent complimented me. I smiled brightly as we continued to walk to the kitchen.

After a while we finally made it to the kitchen along with the killer bass. I placed down the carton of eggs and utensils down on the counter and wiped my forehead due to sweat pooling up there from the freaking heat. We watched as Heather placed on an apron and grabbed a clipboard in order to look like a boss. "Gwen, Noah you two are on the citrus macadamia upside down cake flambé." Heather yelled. "You know how to make a flambé?" Noah asked Gwen in a sarcastic tone. Gwen shook her head as her answer. "Woah!" We heard a loud bash and saw Owen siting in a pile of mushed oranges. "You okay Owen?" I asked walking over to him. "Yeah. I'm fine." Owen groaned standing up with orange stains all over his clothes. "Owen. Go back to the truck and get more oranges." Heather growled while tapping the clipboard impatiently. "Trent. You, Joely and Owen are on ribs." Heather told Trent. He nodded while rolled my eyes. I am not in the flippin mood to deal with Heather today, but we have to win this challenge. "Leshawna and Beth. You two are on pineapple skewers and mango dip." Heather told them. Leshawna scoffed at her and began to smile. "Girl, let me handle the appetizers. I know how to make a mean pineapple chummy that can melt the socks off the devil." Leshawna told us. "That sounds yummy." I drooled slightly. That did sound very delicious until Heather decided to butt in like always. "Oh really? Well that's so great, but since I'm head chef we're gonna stick to my plan. And my plan is pineapples with sticks through them. Got it?!" Heather growled. I could easily tell that Heather was jealous of the fact that Leshawna had a better plan than her. I could easily see it. "If I were head chef, I would totally let you make your pineapple chummy." I whispered to Leshawna. She smiled and nodded at me and began to start the skewers.
