Josh's POV

I walked down to get my mail. I was in shorts and a thin t-shirt, I literally just woke up. I picked up my mail and headed back upstairs. I left Rebecca asleep in my bed, but when I opened the door, she was asleep on the couch. I yawned and covered my mouth. "Reb," I whispered to her. She didn't react. I lifted her up in my arms and carried her back into my room. She nuzzled closer to me. I kissed her forehead before tucking her back into bed. I heard a knock on my door. I groaned quietly. It's the middle of the night, what's wrong with people? I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as I opened the door. Oh hell. "Devin."

"Hey man," he greeted with a grin. I looked over my shoulder, making sure the bedroom door was closed.

"When did you come from California?" I asked. I began bouncing my leg nervously.

"Just last night. We're starting practice next week, I kind of have to be here. And I know you all love being with me so I came, to catch up for a bit." I grinned at him.

"Do you want to come in for some coffee?" I asked.

"Hm. Yeah, sure. I have to head out after this; I won't be here for long." I opened the door wider and allowed him in. I began preparing coffee. "You cleaned up. Last time I was here, the lights didn't work." I chuckled.

"I had help," I told him. He raised an eyebrow in curiosity. I grabbed two mugs and filled them up with coffee.

"The band helped?" I shook my head.

"Well, not fully," I admitted. I passed Devin the mug. He took a sip of the coffee. "They tried their best."

"How are you holding up over Ryan Ashley?" I placed my coffee down. I held back a sigh. I ran a hand through my messy hair. How do I say this...I'm dating your cousin. She's in the other room, sleeping on my bed. She's also pregnant, but I'm not the dad.

"I'm doing fine," I said after a few moments. I looked up from my mug. Devin was staring at me in concern.

"Last time you said that, we had to pick you up from the bar because you were too drunk to drive or get home." I scratched my neck nervously.

"Okay, that was two months ago." I heard a small noise come from my bedroom. I don't think Devin heard it. I turned to look back for a moment. "I am better. I really am, Devin." He smiled at me.

"That's good to hear, Josh." He drank more of his coffee. "How have you been?" I laughed slightly.

"These two past months have been wild," I started. "I was at a bar in April." He sent me a crossed look. "I've stopped drinking. Chris already bit my ass off for it, I don't need a part two."

"Okay. Continue." I sat on a chair across from him.

"Well, I met a girl." He choked on his coffee.

"You met a girl," he repeated for clarification.

"I met a girl," I repeated, a smile growing on my face.

"And, well? What happened?"

"We were just friends." I stirred my coffee. He kept glancing at me in shock. I turned to look back at my bedroom. "Were."

"What happened?" He wiggled his eyebrows at me. "It's the beginning of June, have you two been busy?" I rolled my eyes.

"We started dating a few weeks ago, in the middle of May," I explained. I looked away shyly. A small smile slipped on my lips. Devin gave me a deliberate look before moving his head to the side, glancing behind me. "What?"

"She's in your room, isn't she?" I nodded slightly. I am in a very risky situation right now. "And does she know?"

"Know what?"
