Jealous (Tony Stark)

Tony was known for his parties. They happened pretty regularly and who really knew who was going to end up being there. Although you had gone to quite a few of them, it was pretty apparent that you weren't a party person... especially during them. You always ended up sitting awkwardly at the bar.

Although, you fancied yourself to be a pretty nifty person, you always hated 'meeting' new people. You just never assumed first impressions to be your thing. It was clear that you did not share Tony's charisma. The fact that he was able to go from sarcastic asshole to one charming son of a bitch in 3.5 seconds, was definitely on the list of things you admired about the man.

"Enjoying the party?" You looked up at the young man trying to start up a conversation with you.

You gave him a polite smile, "Oh yeah. I'm a real party animal, can't you tell?"

He took a seat beside you at the bar. You attempted to pay attention and not be rude, but honestly you just didn't care too much for the stranger. He was plenty nice and probably a really interesting man, but your mind wandered to a number of other things. You were actually quite thankful when Tony came to your 'rescue'... well at least until he opened his mouth.

"Tony Stark, pleasure to meet you... um, I'm sorry I honestly have no idea who you are." Tony stopped shaking his hand. He tried to speak, but Tony was already looking at you, "The truth is, you are way too stunning to be left alone for too long.. who knows what creep might try to steal you away. Oh! And I missed you."

You knew most of that was total BS. You knew he found you attractive and he probably did miss you to some extent. However, given his introduction and the way he held himself you, he came over because he was jealous (although you couldn't comprehend why).

Your suspicions were confirmed by Tony pulling you up off your bar stool and into his arms. He spun you around and planted his lips firmly on yours. His tongue delved into your mouth, not giving you an opportunity to deny him even if you had wanted to. By the time he was done you were breathless and a little dazed. "Well that took care of that creep."

"Tony!" You looked around and unsurprisingly he was at the other end of the bar, nursing a beer. "He wasn't trying anything. He was just being nice."

"You are just too cute. But no, no he wasn't just being nice. It was pretty obvious that he was trying to pick you up, Baby Girl." Tony ruffled the top of your head, earning a scowl from you (he would've killed you if you had messed up his hair). "What? You really don't believe me?"

You didn't say anything to him. Of course not saying he is right is just as bad as not agreeing with him, in Tony Stark's book. "I can not believe I'm about to say this... Go talk to that loser. Apologize and say you don't know what's gotten into me. Basically make it seem like he's got a shot. Wow, that really left a bad taste in my mouth. I think I need a mint."

You reluctantly agreed, but afterwards you really wished you hadn't. "You were right."

"I'm always right."

"Yeah, I'm staring to come to terms with that." Tony wasn't ALWAYS right, but it was definitely a 9 times out of 10 situation... and you were getting tired of trying to prove him wrong (only to confirm his theories). Tony's usual arrogant smirk was plastered on his lips. You knew that you shouldn't have admitted to that, "Oh god. I really wanna take it back."

"Too late!'
