Reilly's (POV)

I woke up to the sound of my very loud, very annoying alarm clock. I reached over and pressed snooze. I grabbed my phone to check the time and or any recent update on Mira's plan. I had one text from Mira. Although I felt bad falling asleep and not answering her text, I would have regretted it today. If I would have fallen asleep any later I wouldn't have been able to wake up to my alarm clock and I would be late for school. Speaking of school I needed to get ready. I quickly replied to Mira's text and told her we would talk about it when I got to school.

The shower was soothing and relaxing. I could have stayed in there all day except for the fact that my hair still had shampoo In it and the water was getting cold.

By the time I got out of the shower I had ten minutes to eat breakfast, get dressed, and do my hair. I hadn't realized how long I was in there. I wrapped the towel around my body and threw open the door. My twin brother, Travis, who must have been waiting out there for at least ten minutes, glared at me and sauntered into the bathroom.

Once I reached my room at the end of the hallway I turned the doorknob and went in. I threw on a random outfit, put my hair in a bun, and headed downstairs. When I reached the bottom of the steps I turned a quick left and grabbed an apple. I heard my brother coming down the stairs. He wasn't hard to miss, with his keys jangling around his neck. The sun coming from the windows made his blonde hair look golden. He had beautiful emerald green eyes and he is really tall. He worked out everyday, so he was very muscular. When he looked at the clock to see what time it was he noticed it was late and he grabbed his backpack and headed out the door.

"You coming?" He asked.

"Yeah one sec."

I grabbed my backpack and ran out the door.

The car ride to school was quiet, well except for the music playing in the background. I kept waiting for him to say something but he never did. I was relieved that he was able to give me a ride everyday. I knew I would miss him being there for me when he went off to college. To be honest I didn't want him to go. I mean I know

he can be annoying and a real jerk, but that's what older brothers are for right?

As we neared the school, I looked around for Mira. No luck. Once we parked I opened the door of his white ford pickup, I stepped down and felt something plowing into me and I started falling backwards. I landed on my butt a second later. Oww, that was not what I had expected. I looked up to see my brother's beautiful, but annoying girlfriend and my brother kissing. This is not what I wanted to see everyday but I had to learn to get used to it. I looked her over and noticed she was wearing a pink mini skirt and a pink top. No surprise there, her favorite color was indeed pink. Her blonde curly hair was flowing in the wind. Her eyes were a sapphire blue. In a way I envied her, I had always wanted blonde curly hair with the nice kind of curls, mine were just crazy but I was satisfied for now with my brown hair and brown eyes. Otherwise I didn't envy her at all. I didn't want to be one of those girls that always worried about their hair and having a boyfriend and wearing cute and stylish clothes. Honestly I didn't care about any of that. but I guess that's how she got her reputation. It's the simple rule to this school. Every girl wants to be her and every boy wants to date her. After all she was the most popular girl in school. Amanda may be pretty, but she's evil.
