Chapter 13~

Waking up in the hospital, in the morning after my Valentines Dance... not exactly what I had in mind, unless I was drunk ofcourse. But that was not the case, unfortuntatly. But waking up, hearing yelling? That was totally what I had in mind! Not.

I blinked my eyes a couple of times and rubbed my eyes. Then I opened them to see a lot of people arguing... And who might these, "A lot of people" be...? Why the football team, ofcourse. Who else would managed to make this much noise in a injured persons room? I tried to sit up, but my stomach was so sore! I held my stomach. I saw the bandage wrap around my stomach and remembered what happened.

"Ow..." I said. Not exactly because of the wound... but also the yelling was driving me nuts!

"I KNOW IT WAS THE CANINES! I REFUSE TO LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS!" Travis yelled.

"Travis calm down! Were going to get them, but we can't just Rush in there without a plan and think were going to end up alive in the end." Greg spoke loudly.

"I CAN KILL THEM ALL! I'M THE STRONGEST ONE HERE!" Travis yelled louder. Then a nurse came in.

"Stop yelling! Your distrubing Riley!" She yelled at them. They all turned to me, with a shocked look. Probably because they didn't know I was awake...

"Riley! Are you okay? Are you in pain?!" Travis ran over and held my hand.

"No I'm okay... ow..." I moved again.

"Babe take it easy." Travis stroked my head.

"Travis you yelled so much, You guys should let her rest." Cathy come out from behind Greg.

"Cathy! Are you okay?!" I asked loudly, sitting up by mistake. "Ow shit!" I yelled. I clenched my stomach.

"Lay down! Your going to rip your stitches!" Cathy quickly pushed my down carefully. "Travis you and the guys go get some lunch for all of us. Take your time." She waved them off. Once they were out I had to ask her.

"I'm sorry you had to find out this way..." I looked away.

"What... that my best friend is a werewolf?! No I'm totally fine... Why didn't you tell me! This is so cool! Something exciting is happening in our lives!" She smiled and laughed.

"I thought you'd be scared! And hey! What about you and Greg eh?" I winked at her and she blushed I could tell by the blushing that I knew what was going on.

That's when suddenly, the hospital lights shut off. Everything went dark. I paniced and grabbed Cathy's arm. She squeezed mine back. We heard running. That's when my heart started to race.  Are they coming to finish me off, like they did to the cheerleader? I held my breathe.

"Riley!" I recongized Travis's voice. They were using there phones as flash lights. They all surrounded my bed. Travis holding my hand. We all watched the, now shut door. To see what would happen. If anything at that. But hearing that wolf howl from right outside the door... gave it all away.
