Chapter 11

I got home and was so excited, I was shaking. I never thought I'd see the day were I would go to a dance with a guy! Let alone my boyfriend, the football captain!

I was looking for my dress that I thought would suit me best. Since its hot outside... I'm going to wear my floor length halter dress that has pink lilies and brown spots all over. It gives me curves. I'm sticking with my wedge high heels with the ribbon wrapping up my legs, although you can't see it.

I decided to leave my hair down and straighten it, then I put a purple little daisy in my hair, behind my ear. I put simple eyeliner and mascara then a light pink lipgloss.

I was ready at 6:30 and the anxiety was taking control of me! My parents really want to meet Travis. When i told them about me, meeting Chandak... they were happy! I also told them about me going to the dance, but not that I'm going with a "boyfiend". So things will get interesting!

The clock stricked 7 and my house door bell chimed. Perfect timing, for my perfect boyfriend. I heard my dad answer the door. I was hiding at the top of the stairs, listening to their conversations.

"Welcome! Please come in!" I heard my dads joyful voice.

"Thanks Mr. Newson, I'm Travis, nice to meet you." I heard Travis say politely.

"Ah, what a charming young man!" This time it was my mom. "I'll go get Riley!" I heard my name and walked down the stairs caarefully with my shoes and holding my dress. I soon came in sight of my Travis wearing a red dress shirt with a red rose and black dress pants. His eyes widened and face turned pink red.

Then I looked at my parents who were in each others arms, in awh. my mom was almost tearing.

"Hey..." I blushed at Travis. "You look great!" I smiled sweetly.

"Hey babe, your stunning." He smiled back, still pink red.

"Aw baby, your so beautiful!" my mom and dad hugged me.

"Thanks,"I hugged them back. When they let go, I knew it was time to confess. I walked over to Travis and hugged him around his neck and then let go. "Mom, Dad... Travis is my boyfriend," my mom looked shocked and my dad stunned. "He's the football captian and also... one of the strongest werewolves known..." I looked at hima nd Travis looked back, "But I love him, with my life!" I started tearing up.

"My baby girl is growing up!" my mom cried out.

"I promise you, I will protect her and love her with my life. I will never hurt her or let anything happen to her." Travis said firmly.

"I surely hope not." My dad narrowed his eyes.

"Dad!" I ran over and kissed his cheek. And with that, we left. We got outside and there infront of my house was a black GT Mustang!

"Oh my god! You can drive?!" I jumped a bit.

Travis laughed, "Yes and this is your ride tot he Valentines Dance!" He grinned at me as he opened the passenger side door. I smiled back and slide into the nice leather seat, and Travis closed the door and then quickly got in the drivers side.

"You ready Babe?" He slyly grinned at me.

"Ofcourse." I winked back. He started the car and the radio then blasted loud with Gym Class Heroes- Stereo Hearts. He opened his window and let the music fill the streets. We drove down the streets and listened to the music. Travis drove with one hand and with the other... he held mine.
