It was still dark when Dean suddenly woke up. For a moment he was disoriented and tried to find out why he was awake. But he couldn't put his finger on it. Tired he rubbed his eyes. Mary must have gone to her own room and Dean was laying alone in the darkness. He wished somebody would lay next to him so he wouldn't feel so alone.

Dean tried to go back to sleep but once awake all the thoughts came back into his mind. He sighed and stood up. When he was awake he could just as well do something. Yawning he shuffled to the kitchen to grab a drink when he saw light in the living room. Wondering if he forgot to turn it off he entered the room and found Cas sitting over some books.

"Cas, what are you doing?" he asked the angel. "I look for something that could help us finding Sam, i may have found a spell that can intensify my sense sensor because i can't orient him" Cas said without looking up.

"No I mean what are you doing here in the middle of the night, you should rest" Dean said and sat down opposite of him. "I'm an angel of the lord, i don't need sleep Dean" Cas responded calmly. "Hey, listen. I appreciate everything you do but even angels need to rest okay? You have a rough time behind you and i don't want to you to pass out or something" Dean looked worried at him. Cas closed the book and Dean had the feeling that something else bothered him. "Are you okay Cas? I mean beside all the normal crap thats going on"

Cas brow frowned. He didn't know how to say it without looking weak. "It's just" he started but stopped again. He couldn't find the right words. he took a deep breath "I don't want to be alone in a dark room" he finally said.

"Thats okay" Dean said. "You don't have to. Come on" Dean stood up and waited for Cas to follow. The angel didn't understood until he followed Dean into his room. "Make yourself comfortable" the hunter said and laid down again. Cas stood there puzzled for a second, then slowly laid down next to Dean who wrapped the blanket over them and closed his eyes at once. The presence of Cas relaxed him immediately and his breath got deeper and slower. Cas watched him drifting to sleep. As an angel he didn't had to sleep but to watch Dean sleep calmed him. He felt the stress of the last days drop of, his muscles relax and his mind in peace for a moment. Deans face was so relaxed, all the crinkles disappeared and made him look younger. He even smiled in his sleep and Cas face automatically mimicked that smile.

The next morning, Dean woke up and felt good. It  was comfy and warm. He turned around to cuddle closer to the source of the heat. He sighed in relief and opened his eyes, blinking a few times. What his eyes saw startled him for a moment before he remembered last night. He had invited Cas to sleep in his bed. And he had never slept better. Cas strong arm was still wrapped around Dean and held him tight. The angels eyes were closed and he didn't move so Dean could watch him perfectly. His hair was messy as always but Dean couldn't even imagine how it look like smoothed out. Without the crinkles his face looked softer. Happier. For a couple of minutes Dean just starred at Cas and listen to the steady sound of his breath. He never understood how sounds like the ocean should relax you or Dolphin noises. But Cas deep, slow breath was just that.

Cas moved and opened his eyes. He faced Dean and smiled "Good Morning Dean" he said. Dean was now aware of his head laying on Cas arm. Quickly he straighten up. "Morning" he mumbled.

Dean got up to change in the bathroom. He led the hot water run over his body and tried to get it together. Why was everything so complicated? Sam, Mary, Cas... He really thought that their world could be finally in balance, as balanced a hunter life could be. But having a home, hunting here and now a monster, having Sam and Cas save and alive by his side. Cas. There was that tiny thing that bothered him every time he thought about the angel but couldn't put his finger on it. He tried to get Cas out of his head but it didn't quite worked. The last night came back into his mind and Dean couldn't figure out what he was feeling about that. Cas was he bro, right? A friend. His best friend. His partner in crime / hunting. He imaged what Sam would say. Probably bitch face him. Sam. Deans heart tightened. They had to find Sam! It didn't felt right when Sam wasn't by his side.

When he got out of the shower, Cas was not in his room anymore. He found him with the rest of the hunter squad in the kitchen. No sign or comment about the night.

Mary had taken the lead. They were already recap their notes when Dean joined them.

"So my friend Josh called George who remembered that old Alice once told him about hunters from 'the other side' so i called Alice but she died recently so i talked to Carmen her daughter who passed me to Ali whom she found in her mothers address book, and his brother Kevin lives in Southampton, Britain and he could tell me that there is indeed an order called men of letters, he knew one of them because they had a fight and Kevin broke his nose and..." Garth said in one flow. Dean hoped that the others were as confused as him.

"So what you're saying is that there are men of letters in Britain, what we already know" Jody repeated. "Yes but" Garth started again but got interrupted by Mary.

"What we need to know is where Sam and this Toni Girl are." she said. "So listen.." Garth wanted to say but nobody let him him finish to avoid another logorrhea.

"I found seven Toni Bevells but non of them matched with our Girl." Jody said "and i checked any Airport, when they would have taken a flight i would knew it" Eileen mumbled with the help of her Hands.

"Guys" Garth started again. "what i was about to say is that Kevin sneaked a bit around for me and" "make it short" Dean begged "and he found out that those men have a house near New York and i have an address"

"Why didn't you said so" Dean was nearly hugging him. Nearly.

Everybody gathered around Garth and a huge spread out map in which he cycled with red the address he got.

They had a location. They knew where to look for him.
