After about two hours or so I was out of state, so I decided to then plug in my phone to get some charge and see what texts and calls I have. I finally turned on some music and I looked out at the landscape in front of me. I was still slightly drunk from the night before and I hoped no cop would pull me over. I suddenly remembered the money I had in my jeans the night before. I checked my pockets and realized I didn't even have my wallet, that sneaky bastard stole my shit! He probably took the shit when he came up behind me right after I got my clothes on. Fucking hell now I have to go back and get my shit, I pulled over and banged my head against the steering wheel. I'm so stupid for not looking for these things before I left. I opened up my cell and looked at the charge percent. Cursing under my breath I looked over to the sign in front of the car and sighed. Two more hours of driving, but now I at least have a destination.

I looked around for other vehicles, finally pulled out and went back the way I came from. This is going to be completely shitty; I'm probably not going to get back into town until late. So that means another night there as well, which I'm not too fond of.

I was almost there and I had no idea how I was going to find this jerk, I could have called him. But I have a feeling he isn't exactly going to give me his location, or that he even gave me a legit number. I was just past the few buildings I walked past that afternoon and I was on high alert looking for him and his house. I spent another half an hour or so looking for the house I drug my ass out of earlier that day.

I finally came up to it and pulled into the driveway. I am way to sober for this and I have no idea how this is all going to go down. I unbuckle my belt and looking at the front of the house for a moment and then get out of the blasted car.

I strode up to the large building and knocked, loudly, on the door. I sat there for a moment and then went to knock on it again and then he answered the door. You remember when I said I wasn't much for violence, yeah well this time it was a little different. I knocked him right upside the head and yelled, "Give me my shit fucking asshole." He took a step back and gave me this look, like he had no idea who I was.

"I don't know what you're talking about; you must have the wrong house. I've never met you before." He replied and then went to close the door. I put my foot there, preventing it from closing all the way.

"I was here this morning, jackwad, now give me my wallet and I'll leave." I forcefully shoved against the door; he grunted and struggled to keep the door open.

"Look I have no idea what you're talking about, I woke up with my wife in my arms. Please just leave us alone or I'll call the cops." He kicked my foot away from its spot and slammed the door in my face.

His wife? What the hell? I woke up with him, and I know it was him because of the hickey on his neck. The same one I saw this morning, the one I probably gave him the night before.

"Are you serious right now? Just give me my shit, or I'm calling the damn cops!" I kicked the door.

"Come on jackass! Give me my shit!" I kicked the door a few more times before he came back to the door.

"Look buddy, I don't know what you want. You want money? I can give you money, but I really have no idea who you are. Please just leave us alone." He looked like he really meant it. This guy is good, but I'm not leaving until I get my wallet.

"I don't want your damn money; I want my wallet, my credit cards, my social security, my ID!" He slammed the door back in my face.

"Bastrad, I hope something happens to you, you fucking shit! I'm going to get my shit back you understand, I'll do whatever I need to!" I grabbed a rock and threw it through the window, smashing the glass. I heard a woman scream and went to grab another one before I saw it the familiar leather lying on the ground near one of the windows. What the hell? I went over to it and grab the damn thing, I checked it and everything was there. My credit cards, money, the receipt from the bar last night, but it said I paid at around one. I was at this assholes house by one, what the fuck?

This is weird, like really, really weird. I looked down at myself before ripping my shirt up, nothing. No hickeys, absolutely nothing. What is going on? Did I black out and then make everything up? I'm going crazy; I just need to get out of here. That's when I hear it, in the distance. Cops. He really called them, I guess now's the best time to blow town. I hopped into my car and got out of there as fast as I could. I rounded the corner and saw the cops go by, I sighed. Hopefully, the guy didn't have cameras or have since to get my plate number.

I was going well over the speed limit, but I just wanted to get out of there for good. I reached over to the glove compartment and grab the bottle of gin I keep in there, I down half of what was left and then put the poison back into the compartment. I nearly crashed the car when my phone went off. I looked down at it then back to the road, I felt around for it before answering the phone.

"What?"

"Where the hell are you?"

"What do you want?"

"I want you, here now."

"No, I'm leaving."

"Leaving, what do you mean your leaving?"

"I'm done here."

"What? No, you can't, she wants to see you."

"No, I won't go back, not for anything, not for anyone."

"She asked for you, from her deathbed. She needs to see you."

"Look somethings happening to me and I don't understand it, I can't, not now. I wanted to see her months ago and she told me to get lost it's not my fault she didn't want to see me."

"She was scared."

"She was scared? What about me, huh? I wasn't? My feelings aren't ligament?"

"He's not here. He left a long time ago, your brothers aren't here either. She needs someone"

"So? I don't care. I was going to be there"

"Leo.."

"What!?"

"You can't just abandon her, not when she's dying."

"Me, abandon her? Please, she abandoned me after California."

"Leo you have to come back this is your last chance to make things right, she doesn't have long."

"I'm not going back I can't see her like that."

"You're such an ass. Why can't you see her, man the fuck up!"

"You know why I can't go back, why I can't see her. I told her he was bad news, she didn't listen to me, no, she threw me out to the wolves. "

"I hope you rot in hell."

"So do I."
