Ib jolted awake from her nightmare. She looked around and sighed in relief. No headless statues, no mannequin heads, no moving paintings. In the room she’s in right now, there’s a vase filled with water on top of the table, with a bookcase on each side. On her left was apainting, and it doesn’t look like on which would separate from the wall and chase her.
It was just a nightmare, it’s not real
After making sure it was just a dream, she felt something soft under her hands. She looked down, and Garry’s coat was covering her like a blanket would. If the coat is here, then where’s-
“Oh, you’re awake!”, Garry stated as he approached her, “Are you ok, Ib?”
“I-I had a nightmare..”, she answered his question.
“You poor thing. Of course the creepy things in here would affect you one way or another”, Garry frowned. He seem to remember something suddenly and said,
“Hey Ib, search the right pocket of my coat”
Ib put her hand inside the right pocket and pulled out a candy.
“You can have it. Hopefully it would make you feel better”, Garry said.
“I can have it, really?”, Ib asked unsurely.
“Yeah”, Garry nodded.
Her face lit up and she smiled, saying, “Thank you!”
