Samuel James Reed was working on a car when Elisabeth Davis Beth to most people who knew her got out of her car and towards the office. Don Eric's was doing the load of paper work that had settled on his desk of late. "Good Evening Mr. Eric's I was wondering can you fix my car?" Beth said. "Why certainly we can look at it. How is your Dad doing by the way?" Don asked. Beth answered the question when she saw Samuel out of the corner of her eye. He was underneath a newer car and was getting grease all over him. She wondered why he thought of working here of all places. "Hi Beth what brings you in here?" Samuel said. He was now standing beside her. "My car is acting funny so I am glad I was able to get in here on time." Beth said. She looked lovely in her blue shirt and white skirt. She was a Nurse at the Harris Hospital. He also noticed how tired she was at that moment. "I will drive you home Beth." Sam said. He reached for his phone and called his parents than Elisabeth's Mom. They all agreed for Sam to drive her home which was 20 minute drive from here.

Half hour later Sam helped Beth into his rig. They were both tired from  long days at  work. He drove carefully and noticed Beth was sound asleep on her side of the cab looking beautiful even when sleeping. Her Dark Brownish red hair was long and in a braid for work he thought. Did the Doctors up there noticed how pretty she was? He had been interested in Beth for a long time and wanted to ask her Dad Mark to began dating her. Did Beth like him too? He prayed all the way to her home. Pulling into Mark's driveway was easy. He killed the engine and gently shook Beth awake. She was startled and glad to be home. Their Dog Wilson was barking that someone was here. "Hi Samuel come on in." Mark said. "Thank you sir." Sam said. He shook Mark's hand while Beth and Samuel came indoors. Ruth Davis was making supper by the looks of things. " You must be starving Sam why don't you join us?" Ruth said. "Thanks Mrs. Davis I would like that only I am needed in town." Samuel said. "Another time than?" Mark said. He was turning to go when Beth came out in a pair of tan slacks and a new top. "Thank you ,Samuel for bringing me home." Beth said. " You are very welcome Beth. I must go now." Sam said. He left without another look and Beth watched from their living room window. What was that all about she wondered.

Samuel made it home on time. His brother Isaac and Jason were seated at the table along with his sister Heather. "How was your day?" Heather asked. "Fine, I had to drive Beth home." Samuel said. Smiling Heather passed the potatoes she just got off from work at the local Church School she was now teaching for three years now. Samuel watched his sister while she ate than to his older brother Jason who was eating he worked at a local Store called "Super Mart." Isaac who was working with his hands at a local Furniture Shop he loved making things with his hands.

Beth was also eating dinner with her family. Jake who was a logger was home for a time and Naomi was seated beside Mom. "So how was work?" Jake asked. "Fine being a Nurse is busy work." Beth said. "It is at that." Grandpa Gene said. Beth smiled at her Grandpa who lost his wife years ago. He had allowed her parents to move in and help. "Do you need a massage tonight Grandpa?" Beth asked. "No, I am just getting older." Grandpa Gene said. Beth admired her Grandpa for who he was and he loved taking an interest in all of what they were doing. She was thankful for how the Lord has provided their every need.
