Beth was busier than ever with working and helping with her Grandpa who had gotten sick the last few months made making plans for the wedding hard to get together for. Sam was missing Beth so much that he came and helped out as much as he could. "How are you Gene?" Sam asked. "Tired." Gene said. Beth and Sam talked off and on while helping. "Thanks for coming tonight." Beth said. "I missed seeing you and I wanted to help you." Sam said. Beth walked Sam out to his rig and he kissed her goodbye. "See you soon, my love." Sam said. Beth smiled and waved goodbye than went back to the house.

Sam was busy again that week and had hardly time to go and see Beth. Beth was busy too only it was time to go and see her beloved. "Are you going to see Sam tonight?" Ruth said. "That was my plans unless you need me?" Beth said. "No, you need to visit Sam too you know." Ruth said. "Thanks Mom." Beth said. Beth went up to see Sam at work who was still at it when she got there. Don was gone and she quietly came in. Sam was about to close when a car stopped in. "Sir, can you help me?" the man said. "What's the problem?" Sam said. "My car keeps dying and my wife is in labor." the man said. "Okay let me see to the car Beth here will see to your wife." Sam said. Beth went to the car and helped the lady on the sofa. "How far apart are you?" Beth asked. "Five Minutes apart." the lady said. Beth helped her to breath and did call the ambulance quickly. Sam kept the lady's husband busy while having the baby. Beth could hear the sing song of the ambulance as they came. The baby was just born and the Mom was doing fine. "Hello Beth how come your not at work tonight?" Harry the driver said. "I had a day off you know." Beth said. She helped her patient and her and the baby were in good hands. "Thank you." the lady said. Beth watched her and the husband go. Beth turned to clean up the mess from the baby. "Wow! You are something else." Sam said. He took her into his arms. "Why do you say that?" Beth said. "You kept your head Beth and now those two folks have a baby boy to love." Sam said. Beth smiled from her tired face. "Come on we better get you to our house to sleep. I am sure Heather can let you have something." Sam said. She was too tired to argue with anyone so she had Sam drive her to his folks house. Sam dropped her off than had Jason come with him to pick up her car. "How is Beth doing?" Jason said. "She delivered a baby at the Shop tonight. I Haven't seen anything like Beth in her nursing mode she was wonderful." Sam said. "So are you going to allow her to keep working after you marry?" Jason asked. That was a question they never came around to just yet. "I don't know." Sam said. Beth had worked hard to get her Nursing and to change it now was unthinkable at least it was to Beth. Samuel now was still thinking it when he pulled into the driveway with Beth's car.

Beth who was tired out went sound asleep in Heather's room. "I can see how tired she is." Susan said. They tip toed out of the room while Heather sat on the sofa in the living room to wait Sam's return with Beth's car. "Where is Beth?' Sam asked. "Sleeping soundly in my room." Heather said. Heather and Sam talked off and on until Beth awakened several hours later to Heather's bed. She hopped out of bed and helped with the dishes. She was still in Heather's' robe when Samuel came out to see Beth making breakfast and cleaning up from the night before. "How was your sleep?" Sam asked. Whirling around she had forgotten that Sam would be up and around soon. "I slept good thank you." Beth said. Sam saw the blush and went back to get ready for work. He had a lot on his mind. Beth looked lovely in his sister's robe. "Son, when are you and Beth getting married." Caleb asked from the doorway. "I don't know we haven't had time to set a date yet. I am hoping around Fall or so." Sam said. Summer was quickly leaving the scene and Fall would be here. Beth was in her clothes she wore the night before still looking lovely as ever too. "Hi Beth what are you doing making breakfast?" Caleb said. "Helping out since you've allowed me to sleep here." Beth said. Caleb was shooed out of the kitchen and breakfast was on the table by the time Heather and Susan got up and ready for the day. "Good Morning Susan." Beth said. "Thanks for making breakfast for everyone." Susan said. Beth smiled at her than sat down to eat too. Sam took Beth's hand in his while they prayed. Beth loved the feel of Sam's hand in hers it was a special link to him. The meal was over and Beth had to make it home to see how her family were doing. "Can you stay for supper Sam?" Beth asked while walking to her car. "Yes, I will be a little later than usual so save something for me." Sam said. "Okay I love you.' Beth said. "I love you, my darling." Sam said. He talked to her a little bit more than kissed her goodbye. She did have to get back home.
