Beth was busy that week and she still made time to see Sam at work. He was working on a rig when Beth walked in. "Hello Don how are you doing?" Beth said. "I am fine Beth you are looking for Sam I believe." Beth smiled to be found out as easily as she placed some cookies and coffee for them all. "Thanks for the coffee." Don said. He went back to his paper work when Sam came up to take a break and was glad to see Beth standing there. "Hi, how was work?" Sam said. "I just got off and decided to come and see you." Beth said. "I am glad you did." Sam said. He took Beth's hand into his and walked her towards the shop where the cars are. Once alone Sam pulled Beth closer and kissed her. "I love you." Beth said. "I know you do thanks for the cookies and coffee. They will hit the spot." Sam said. "I am glad you approve." Beth said. They walked back out when Jessica decided to try one more time on Sam. She didn't notice Beth who was standing there she was short. "Hi Sam how are you?" Jessica said. "Hi, doing fine as you can tell." Sam said. He pulled Beth to his side and Jessica saw her now. "Hi Jessica how are you? Is your car acting up?" Beth asked. Turning on her heels she left and didn't come back until she knew Beth was gone.

Sam closed the shop and was glad to be going home. Beth was staying for supper she looked so nice even in her Nurse Uniform. His Mom made a comment on how well and modest she looked in it. "Hi Mom." Sam said. "Sam you have a problem and Beth is in Heather's room." Susan said. Sam came into the living room and saw Jessica sitting on the sofa. "What may I ask are you doing here?" Sam demanded trying to be nice. "I came to see you Sam. I like you and want us to get to know you better." Jessica said. "I am afraid that is impossible. I am in love with Elisabeth Davis having been for a long time." Sam said. Walking towards Heather's room Beth came out. She still looked lovely with her hair coming out of her braid and he pulled her into the hallway and to the living room. Jessica watched as Sam pulled Beth to him and kissed her. "Jessica this is my lady right here." Sam said. Beth was pleased to see that Jessica was now finally getting the hint. "Jessica what happened to Rick? He is your Man and this man standing before me is mine and always will be. So please leave him alone now." Beth said. She watched something flick into Jessica's eyes as she stormed out of the house. Susan watched her go with a sigh never had she met someone who wanted her son like Jessica did. She called, emailed, and was stalking him. Sam was thankful for Jessica to be gone he held Beth still and she sighed. It had been a long day for her and she was tired out now. "Sam why don't you let Beth take a nap and you and Heather can help with supper. Heather led Beth back to her room where Beth curled up and went to sleep. An hour later Sam and Heather went to see how Beth was. "She looks so little sleeping like that." Heather said. It made Sam smile she was little and sweet with it although she was his lady and he loved her more than anything. Heather watched the emotions that came and went on Sam's face. He was in love with Beth and has been for sometime now. She moved to shake Beth awake who was instantly awake. "How long did I sleep?" Beth asked. "Mom gave you an hour come on its time to eat." Heather said. Beth tidies her hair and face than went to meet Sam in the hall who was waiting. "You look gorgeous." Sam said. "Thank you." Beth said. They ate a nice meal and Beth who was still tired needed to head home. "Can you stay for a movie?" Susan asked. "No not tonight I am on duty tomorrow so I need to head for home." Beth said. Sam walked Beth to her car and they talked for a few moments more. "I will see you tomorrow evening." Sam said. "You know I love you so much. Thank you for allowing me to sleep for awhile." Beth said. "Beth, I would do anything for you." Sam said. He bent his tall frame and kissed Beth on the lips. She waved as she left and went home. She sighed Sam loved her and she loved him.

Gene was not tired and stayed up late as Beth pulled into the driveway. She had a light in her step so things did work out with her and Sam. Gene was happy about that for Sam would make Beth a good husband. "Hi Beth I am glad you made it home." Gene said. "Hi, Grandpa yes I did. I am tired out now had a long shift than went to see Sam and had dinner with Susan and family." Beth said.
