MLAL- chapter 21

**Maya's P.O.V**

I watched Harry run towards me with his suitcases.

"You don't have to do this you know.."i said as we entered the elevator. "yes i do" he said keeping a straight face.

The elevator got down to the main floor and i was met by Lauren. When she saw Harry she froze. I guess they haven't seen each other since their fight.

"um...Maya i told Mr.Fitz you had to go"she said turning towards me. "okay

.thanks..can you tell him Harry has to come too..."i said looking up at Harry.

"ya sure..i called a cab for you..i'll see you in a couple days" she gave me a hug and went towards the elevator.

Well that wasn't awkward at all.

Me and Harry walked outside and waited a bit before the cab came.

As we entered Harry finally started to talk.

"You wrote my name on Hudson's birth certificate right?" he sounded annoyed.

I looked up at him a bit annoyed too.

"of course Harry..why wouldn't i put you name on it."i said.

He didn't answer, instead he turned to face the window, mumbling something to himself.

well then.

We finally got to the airport And we rushed to ask for the next flight to L.A.

"The next one is in about twenty minutes" one of the staff said. We both bought our tickets and went to our gate.

"I'm gonna go buy some food....do you want anything?" Harry asked me.

"no" i said and he walked away.

How could he eat at a time like this. Our son could possibly...die.

And why does he want to be in Hudson's life all of a sudden when he hasn't been there since the day Hudson was born.

Twenty minutes went by so slow but finally they called us to board the plane. Once we got onto the plane, i put in my headphones. I needed to block the whole world out.

"please put on your seat belts as we prepare for landing" a flight attendant said.

Those are the best words i've heard in a long time. The flight was so long and I kept thinking of horrible possibilities.

I looked over to see Harry sleeping. He looked so cute asleep. He looked peaceful, calm, and sweet.

"Harry we're landing"i whispered. He didn't budge. I started to shake and hit him and he finally woke up. "WHAT?"he screamed.

There's the Harry I knew.

"chill...we're about to land" i rolled my eyes and put my chair up. "oh sorry" he said. "whatever" i mumbled.

Once we landed, we grabbed our stuff and raced through the airport towards baggage claim. Luckily, our bags came pretty fast.

I grabbed my last suitcase and headed towards Harry who was waiting for me with all his bags. "I called a cab...so it'll be here soon" he said. "okay..we should probably go outside then?" i asked. He nodded in reply and we headed outside.

buzz buzz buzz.

I looked down at my phone and read the text i had gotten.

Mom:

Hudson just got out of surgery. The doctor said everything went well and they'll need him to stay at the hospital for the next couple of days to monitor him but everything is looking good so far :).

A flood of relief washed through me as I read the text. My baby is gonna be okay. I showed Harry the text and a smile crept onto his lips as he pretended to wipe away sweat.

The cab showed up and we headed straight for the hospital. Once we got there, we grabbed our luggage and ran to the floor my mom had texted me. As we stepped out of the elevator i heard my name.

"Maya" i looked over to meet my mom. I ran towards her and gave her a huge bear hug. The kinds Niall gives.

"where is he?" i asked. She signalled for me to follow her. We reached a blue door at the children's wing in a matter of seconds

"I'll let you see him by yourself" she said. Then she noticed Harry. "oh...hello Harry" she said. "Hello" he said. She walked away and both me and Harry entered Hudson's room.

That's's when I broke down.

Laying there was my 4 month old baby boy looking lifeless.

I know hes still alive but thinking about all the pain hes went through just broke my heart. That's when I felt Harry's warm hands around me. "come on" he said. We walked slowly towards the hospital bed He was on.

I gasped when I noticed all the wires around him. "its ok....hes okay" Harry assured me. I heard the door to the room open. "hey guys i brought you hot chocolate" my mom said and handed me an Harry warm cups.

"Thanks mom" i said and she left the room.

"are you okay?" Harry asked. This was really awkward.

"um..ya..i think" i said. He giggled.

We sat there just enjoying each other company.

Then I said something I immediately regretted.

"Why'd you kiss me?" i said and i immediately slapped my hand over my mouth. He giggled at my actions. I guess he was taking this as a joke.

"No but...seriously you told Lauren you loved her...all the time..and you make it pretty care you don't love me so..why did you kiss me?" i asked a bit more serious than before.

"Maya..." he said.

"Harry answer the damn question" i snapped.

"Maya.....I never stopped loving you" he said.

welllll i was about to listen to it but i decided not to cuz imagine how the boys would feel

I'm just an amazing fan like that..BUT I CANT WAIT TILL THE ALBUM COMES OUT
