MLAL-chapter 24

**Maya's P.O.V**

"what time are you coming to pick Hudson up?" i said over the phone to Harry.

"um....like nine?" he replied. 

"ya sure nine's good" i said as i reapplied my mascara. "you know...you could just come over with Hudson and we could all hang out?" Harry said.

"no Harry I owe it to Lauren to go out with her tonight.." i said. "i basically stole her boyfriend....." i said as i stalked into my walk-in-closet to pick what to wear.

"But why do you have to go clubbing..why cant you guys watch a movie or something..." he whined. "Because she wants to go clubbing"i said pulling out a skin tight neon pink dress with a zipper down the back. This should do. 

I removed my phone from my ear, put it on speaker, and placed it on my bed. "I just don't want you going out all alone where there will be hundreds of other men" he continued. I slipped on the dress and zipped it up. 

"i won't be alone..Lauren is gonna be there remember? nothing will happen to us, stop worrying" I went back into my bathroom and combed out my hair. I didn't feel like doing anything to it so i just left it like that.

"harry?" i questioned. "yeah" his raspy voice replied. "just making sure you were still there" i said as i placed some nude heels in front of my door. "i could hear him chuckle through the phone which made me laugh too.

We talked on the phone a bit longer until Harry decided to start heading over to pick up Hudson.

Fifteen minutes later, there was a knock on my door. I rushed downstairs and swung the door open. Harry was standing there with his hair pushed back and a black coat and ripped jeans.

"Harry ive told you like a million times that I hate those jeans" i said as he walked inside. "Their my favorite pair!" he said.

"their ugly" i shot back. "Hater" he said as he skipped up the steps into the nursery.

I gave him everything he needed to take care of Hudson and soon enough he was leaving. "have fun" he said hesitantly.."but not too much fun" he finished.

"a little party never killed nobody" i said in my best attempt of imitating him "who says that all the time huh?" i replied.

"whatever" he said picking up the car seat and heading out. "ahem...are you gonna give me a kiss?"i asked. He trailed back and gave me a peck, "see you tomorrow love" he said.

"By babe..love you" i followed him to the door. "Love you more" was all he said as he headed out to his car.

"who's ready to partaayy" i said as i walked into Lauren's house.

"MEEE" Lauren said rushing to the door. "oh my gosh Maya you look so gorge"she complimented. "thanks babe..so do you" i said admiring her grey dress that reached her mid-thigh. 

A black-haired girl walked out of the kitchen with what looked like beer in her hand. Lauren caught me looking at her. "oh that's Nicole..shes my cousin, she was in town and decided to join us!" she finished.

"oh..okay, I'm Maya" i introduced myself to her. She nodded in reply and we all decided it was about time to head out.

When we pulled up to the club, we quickly payed and rushed out to get in line. There was only about ten people in the line so the wait wasn't long. Once the bouncer let us in, we quickly fixed our hair and make-up and headed to get some drinks

We made our way through the dozens of sweaty bodies on the dance floor. There was definitely a lot of people here which made the line outside misleading.

We all ordered our drinks and stalked around the bar for a while. I was on my second drink when Lauren said she wanted to go dance, which left me and Nicole.

"sooo......" i dragged on. "where are you from?" i asked a bit surprised that i could actually make out a sentence since i was getting a bit tipsy.

"Holmes Chapel" she replied. "ohhh....cooooool my boyfriend is from there" my speech started to become slurred. After a while it got awkward so i asked if she wanted to go to the dance floor.

"hell yeah!" she replied and grabbed my hand. We went to the middle of the dance floor just as they started playing 'Disturbia' by Rihanna.

"wow they play some really old songs here" i commented. But got no reply. I turned around to see that Nicole was nowhere to be found. Great..now i was all alone.

I glanced around the dance floor in search of Lauren and Nicole. By now my vision was blurred and i could barely make out peoples features.

Finally i spotted Lauren with some guy in a neon yellow shirt. He was offering Lauren a drink and guiding her away. 

"Lauren!" i yelled over the blasting music. I finally caught up to her and pulled on her arm. "Lauren come on where are you going"

"my...friend...wanted..to..help" she slurred. "help you with what?" i asked. 

"um....to help me get a boyyyyfriend" she giggled. He pulled on her arm and started walking out again. 

"No! You're coming with me" i said. I yanked her away from the creep and started looking for Nicole. 

"do you have any idea where Nicole is?"  I asked Lauren.

"up your butt and around the corner" she laughed. 

ugh..why do i even bother. This was the time when i really wished i was sober so I could focus on looking for Nicole.

I felt a warm hand on my back and screamed. I turned around to meet Nicole. "haha...chill" she said.

"Nicole! We were looking everywhere for you...lets go home" i said. "Wait! i met someone and he was looking for you...he said you guys are dating? is it that kid from Holmes Chapel? she asked.

"what? Harry is here?" i asked a bit surprised. 

"no...he didn't say his name was Harry...he said it was......umm......" she thought.

"Zach" a sweet voice interrupted.

 I looked over Nicole's shoulder to meet those beautiful eyes.

It was Zach....from Hawaii.

What the hell was he doing here.
