Pillow Fight

~Kayla’s POV~

The next morning I woke up and almost had a heart attack. Jaime was standing over me making a funny face and it scared me enough to scream and fall off my bed. Stephanie woke up with a scared look on her face and then noticed me lying on the floor. Jaime was laughing his butt off as Stephanie was helping me stand up. Jaime was rolling on the floor still laughing when Stephanie and I exchanged looks and read each other’s mind. We walked over to my bed and each grabbed a pillow. We walked over to Jaime and began hitting him as hard as we could with our pillows.

“OUCH!” He yelled out in pain.

“That’s what you get for scaring me!” I yelled back at him.

“She could have died!” Stephanie yelled.

“I don’t think I would have died Steph.”

“I know, I’m just making it more dramatic.” She said back with a smile.

Jaime escaped and we chased him into the living room still hitting him with our pillows. We received some weird looks until Justin finally spoke up.

“Why are you wailing on Jaime?”

“He scared me and I fell out of bed.” I replied still swinging my pillow.

“EW! TMI!” Justin yelled.

“Not like that!” I turned and yelled at Justin with a disgusted look on my face. “I was sleeping and when I woke up he scared me.”

“Uh huh, whatever you say.” He said with a wink.

“UNCLE, UNCLE!” Jaime began to yell and Stephanie and I quit hitting him with pillows and sat on the floor out of breath.

“You guys are stronger than you look, no offense.” Jaime said gasping for air.

“None taken.” Stephanie replied smiling.

After our pillow fight, we got some breakfast and watched Pierce The Veil’s new music video. Their director finished editing it and sent a copy of it over. It turned out really good no, GREAT! I loved it. When the music video was over, I decided to get dressed and feed the animals. While I was feeding Majesty, Stephanie came out to help.

“So, when was the last time you visited Riley?” She asked not making eye contact.

“It’s been a few days.” I said with a sad tone.

“Well, the next time you go, could I come?” She asked hesitantly.

“Of course. You are his friend too. Do you want to go now?”

“Yeah, that would be great.” She said as we made eye contact and smiled.

We made our way back inside and grabbed our purses and started walking towards the door.

“Where are you ladies going?” Jesse asked as we were walking out the door.

“We are going to visit a friend, be back in a few hours.” I said waving behind me.

 Stephanie put in a Black Veil Brides cd she brought and we rocked out to Knives and Pens on the way to see Riley. We arrived at the hospital Riley was at in an hour. I hate hospitals, they smell weird and the food is terrible. We walked into Riley’s room and Stephanie stopped walking as soon as she saw him lying in the hospital bed. It was her first time visiting him since it happened. I knew it was going to be hard for her. We pulled up two chairs and sat next to his bedside. Stephanie just stared and I tried not to lose it.

“I usually talk to him while I’m here.” I said trying to erase the tension.

“Oh, ok.” She said snapping out of her trance. We talked to him about our jobs and about our pillow fight with Jaime this morning and just about everything that had happened the past few days. My phone began to ring and I stepped out of the room to take the call.

“What? Are you serious? No way! Ok we will be right there, just let us say goodbye to Riley.” I said back into the phone and walked back into Riley’s room.

“Steph, you’ll never guess who’s going to be staying at the mansion.” I said excitedly.

“Who?”
