Bulletproof Love

~Kayla’s POV~

The next morning we all woke up confused as to why we were in the living room, but we soon remembered we passed out after our epic water fight. When we were all awake, we decided to make some breakfast before the crew and director for Pierce The Veil’s music video arrived. Jaime insisted we make pancakes and waffles again, so we did. After everyone was done eating, we went to the living room and watched t.v. until the crew arrived.

~Vic’s POV~

I woke up in a strange room and wondered how I got there. Then I remembered the water fight that began with Justin and Kayla and soon involved the rest of us and how we passed out in the living room afterwards. When we all woke up, we had pancakes and waffles again at Jaime’s request then watched some t.v. before the crew arrived to make our music video. I was so pumped about this video. Then again, I get pumped for all our videos. This one is for our song “Bulletproof Love” and I couldn’t wait to get started.

The crew arrived about an hour later and started setting up for the music video. The director showed up a few minutes later and the guys and I began talking to him about some ideas we had for the video. After we all discussed what was going to be in the video, we gathered our instruments and began to tune and set them up where they would be needed. In a few minutes, we were ready to film.

~Jaime’s POV~

I was so excited about this music video, it was going to be so much fun, especially since we were filming it at a mansion! We decided to shoot Tony jamming out on his guitar in the kitchen first. He was so fun to watch and an amazing guitar player. Vic’s scene was up next. He would stand in the hallway and sing parts of the song. I was watching him sing when I noticed Kayla standing on the sidelines singing the song to herself. I decided to go over and hang out with her until the whole band had to set up in a separate room to play our part.

“Hey girl!” I yelled as I walked over to her.

“Hey, Jaime!” She yelled back and we were immediately shushed but one of the crew members.

“Sorry!” Kayla whispered to him as he rolled his eyes and walked away.

“How rude, don’t they know I’m the star of this music video?” I said with fake disgust.

“I know! They should treat you with more respect.” She said winking at me.

I liked this girl. She could keep up with my humor and hyperness. We talked until I had to get ready to play for the band scene, which I was totally going to rock. After that scene was over, the man and women who would be playing the lead roles in the video came in and shot their parts. They were really good actors and very fun to watch. By the end of the day the music video had been finished and our director began to edit it. I knew it was going to be amazing and I couldn’t wait to see the finished product. 

~Kayla’s POV~

Pierce The Veil’s music video was finished by the end of the day which I was surprised by. They worked really fast! When their director began editing the video, my phone began to ring. I immediately knew who it was because ‘Coffin” by Black Veil Brides began to play.

“Hey Steph!” I yelled excitedly into the phone.

“Hey Kayla! I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight?”

“Of course! How about you come over to the mansion and spend the night? You’ll never guess who's here.” I said with a hint of excitement in my voice.

“Sounds good! Who’s there?” She questioned.  

“Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens.”

“On my way.” She said and hung up. I laughed and hung up as well and went to tell the boys she was coming over.

“Guys! Guess who’s coming over!”

“Who?” Blake asked with a confused look on his face.

“Stephanie!” I screamed louder then I needed to.

“Ohhhh” My boys said in unison. They knew I always got excited when she came over.

“Who is Stephanie?” Jaime asked.

“She’s my best friend.” I said with a smile.

“I thought I was your best friend!” He said with a hurt expression on his face. Before I could say that he was my best friend as well he chimed in with a “Just kidding I can’t wait to meet her!”

“I can have more than one best friend Jaime.” I told him after everyone was done laughing at his amazing acting skills. I was happy he considered us best friends after only knowing each other for two days.

About an hour later the doorbell rang. I ran to the door and swung it open and gave Stephanie a huge hug. It had been almost a month since we hung out last. She had her overnight bag, a few issues of AP Magazine, and some cd’s in her hand. I knew it was going to be a fun night.

My boys hugged her when I brought her into the living room and I introduced her to the bands. Jaime was the first one she met of course.

“So, you’re this ‘best friend’ Kayla’s been talking about huh?” Jaime said best friend in air quotes to add more drama to the situation.

“Umm yeah, and your Jaime Preciado! You are one of my favorite bass players, next to Ashley Purdy of course.” She said with a huge smile on her face.

“Okay, you’re cool.” Jaime replied and we all laughed. We decided to hang with the bands and watch ‘House Of Wax’ with them. After the movie ended and I pushed a sleeping Kellin off my lap, Stephanie and I decided to go to my room and listen to the cd’s she brought over and read AP Magazines. We talked for hours and were soon sung to sleep by the sweet voice of Vic singing ‘Props and Mayhem’ on the Pierce The Veil cd we were listening to.
