The Balcony Scene

~~Kaylas POV~~

“KAYLA!” Jake yelled running into the hospital room.

“Yes Jake?” I said turning to him.

“We have to get back to the mansion, Pierce the Veil is arriving soon! I’m so excited!!” He said practically yelling in my face.

“Haha, alright Jake let’s get going.”

I said my goodbyes to Riley and headed out of the hospital. I would visit him later since there was really nothing we could do at this point. Once we were in the car heading home, Jake put in a Pierce the Veil cd and we all started dancing and singing along. Slade was driving so he mostly just sang Vic’s parts. Lance and Blake were head banging together in the backseat. They were brothers so they were practically always together. Jake was in the passenger’s seat singing along with Slade. Which left me. I was in the backseat in between Lance and Blake laughing and singing along to ‘Carphernelia’. The ride back to the mansion was sort of a long one. We were about an hour away from everything. We were friends with a man named Stephan who owned his own Record Label. His grandfather passed away a few years earlier and left Stephan his mansion in his will. He let us all stay there whenever we wanted to. He would also let some of the bands that are signed to his record label stay there when they were in town. Pierce the Veil had been with his record label for a few years now and they had become good friends. They were staying at the mansion for a few months while shooting their recent music video and it would be our first time meeting them. We were all so excited to meet them since they are one of our favorite bands.

When we finally arrived at the mansion, Jake jumped out of the car and ran into the mansion to start preparing for Pierce the Veil’s arrival. They would be the first band to ever stay at the mansion with us, so we were all kind of nervous.

A few minutes after we went into the mansion the doorbell rang. I went to go answer it but I was pushed out of the way by Jake. He quickly said sorry and flung the door open.

“OH. MY. GOSH. I can’t believe it’s you guys! I am a BIG fan!” Jake said with wide eyes.

“Oh, thank you! It’s always nice to meet a fan.” Jaime the bass player replied with a smile. I stood up from being knocked over and walked over to the door.

“I thought I was the one who is supposed to ‘fan girl’ “I said with a smile and the whole band was laughing.

“Hahaha! That’s alright. We are used to it” Vic said smiling back at me.

“Well come on in. You guys can pick which ever room you want to stay in for the next few months.” I said to them with a smile and motioned for them to enter. They all looked around the mansion with wide eyes. “Dang” Mike said still admiring the size and furnishings of the mansion.

“I know. It’s pretty impressive right?” I said back to him.

We all walked into the living room where the rest of my boys are. They were playing Guitar Hero but when Pierce the Veil walked in, they paused the game and gave them their full attention.

“Pierce the Veil, these are my boys, Blake and his brother Lance, Slade and you have already met Jake.” I said to them.

“Hey guys, nice to meet you.” Tony replied with a wide grin on his face.

“No, it’s nice to meet you!” Blake said walking up and shaking hands with Vic, Mike, Tony, and Jaime. Lance and Slade extended their hands as well. They were so nervous, it was cute. While the band went to go pick out which rooms they wanted, I went out to the backyard. Stephan had five dogs, three cats, and a horse I liked to care of whenever I stayed there. They were all so sweet and well behaved. I was feeding them when I heard someone walking up behind me. I turned around to see Jaime smiling at me.

“Hey” I said smiling back at him.

“Hey!” he replied.

“Did you all get settled in?”

“Yeah, we all picked rooms next to each other on the second floor.” He said still smiling.

“Good.” I said grinning back.

“So, I see Stephan has A LOT of animals. Do you always take care of them when you’re here?” He asked while I continued to feed them.

“Yeah, I love taking care of them when I’m here. Would you like to meet them!?” I said with and excited expression on my face. He chuckled and said sure.

“Alright, this is Goliath.” I said pointing to a Mastiff. I pointed to a Border Collie and said his name was Parker. Next was Sasha and Hercules, a Siberian Husky and a Great Dane. Last of the dogs was Ruben, a Rottweiler. He could get a little aggressive with strangers but seemed perfectly fine with Jaime. I then introduced him the three cats. Oliver, an orange tabby kitten, Jigsaw, a Calico kitten and Maxwell, a black and white cat.

“And last but certainly not least, this is Majesty.” I said leading him to a black and grey speckled horse. She was so pretty.

“Well, it’s nice meeting all of you.” Jaime said shacking all of their paws and nodding to Majesty. I giggled and then the rest of the band and my boys came outside with us.

“Guess who I just got off the phone with!” Blake said running to me.

“Who?”

“Sleeping With Sirens” He said with a smirk on his face. I screamed and jumped up and down and so did Pierce the Veil since they are good friends with them.

“Are they coming to stay here?” Vic asked obviously excited to be reunited with their lead singer Kellin Quinn.

“Yeah they’ll be here in a few hours.” Lance replied.

“SWEET” Pierce the Veil said in unison.

“Yay! Now all of the Kellic fans will be happy again!” I yelled. We all laughed and started walking inside.

“So anyone up for some Guitar Hero?” Slade asked.

“Yes” I said “but first, TACOS!” I screamed and ran into the kitchen. Everyone screamed and followed me into the kitchen. We decided to have a feast of tacos until Sleeping With Sirens arrived. Then, things would get crazy.
