Save It For The Slow Dance

He introduced himself while smiling and holding out his hand. 

"Hey, Dalton, I'm Kayla" I said shaking his hand and trying to stay calm. My crush developed for Dalton when I saw him in a Bryan Stars interview. Dalton sang in a band called Late Nite Reading and they were the only band I listened to whose members were actually my age. Dalton being the youngest was nineteen and I was eighteen and since I am a fangirl at heart I thought that gave me a better chance of being with him. My thoughts were interrupted by Jake walking up and introducing himself to Dalton and the rest of the band while smiling at me since he knew how I felt about Dalton.

"Hey guys my name's Jake and this is Kayla."

"Hey! I'm Brady and this is Clayton, Drew, and Dalton." Brady the bass player replied back to Jake. Clayton, who played guitar, shook both of our hands while Drew, the drummer, took a different approach and hugged both of us. I liked hugs, so it was okay. Blake, Lance, Slade and Stephanie introduced themselves as well. Stephanie turned to me and started to freak out a little at the fact that Bryan Stars was standing only a few feet away from us. We decided to introduce ourselves while trying to keep our excitement under control. 

"Hey Bryan. I'm Kayla and this is one of my best friends, Stephanie." 

"Hey girls! Nice to meet you both." He said smiling his wide smile.

"We are huge fans of yours Bryan! We love your interviews with Black Veil Brides." Stephanie told him.

"No way! Thanks! It's always nice to meet my fans!" He said while hugging us. While we helped Bryan set up for whenever the interviews were going to start, I couldn't help but overhear Brady talking to Dalton. 

"Dude, that Kayla chick just kept staring at you. I think she likes you man." Brady said while nudging Dalton in the side. They had been best friends since way before they decided to start a band, so it was natural for him to tease Dalton like that.

"What? No way man. She probably doesn't even know our band." 

"Oh, but she does. Jake said they listen to us all the time, and that your her favorite member." Brady said wiggling his eyebrows. I couldn't believe Jake told him that. When did he have time to tell him that? Now Dalton was going to think I was just another typical fangirl who likes bands for their looks and not their music. 

"Really? Cool." I heard Dalton reply and saw him look over at me out of my peripheral vision. He was smiling. Maybe he didn't think I was like the typical fangirl. 

We finished setting up the camera and getting Bryan's questions all in order a few minutes later. He had decided to interview Pierce The Veil first since Jaime was excited that I would be watching. In only four days we were best friends and I couldn't of been happier.

The interview started off with Bryan's signature question.

"If you were a porn star...what would be your porn star name?"

They all took turns saying their porn star names and Jaime's was by far my favorite.

"William Farthouse" He said with a straight face. I busted out laughing and everyone turned to look at me. 

"And that's Kayla ladies and gentlemen." Mike said saving me from my awkward outburst of laughter. Everyone joined in my laughter and it made me feel better.

"Yeah! That's my best friend Kayla, she's also like my sister. Get in here Kayla!" Jaime said gesturing me to come sit on his lap. I tried to refuse but then he got off the couch, picked me up and set me on his lap. How was I going to refuse that? 

"So you guys have become really close huh?" Bryan asked while putting his microphone in front of us.

"Oh yeah. We are super close. We tell each other jokes and our secrets. We even have pillow fights." I said turning to Jaime giving him a chance to chime in.
