I HAVE SOOOOO MUCH INSPIRATION FOR THIS STORY!!! I LOVE IT!!!
____________Mark didn't say anything as he subconsciously pulled away from Sean and walked out the glass room, locking the door and walking to the bathroom, the sounds of Sean's voice calling out his name seemed so far and distant.
He shut the door and leaned back on it, sliding down so he sat on the ground, staring at his hands for what felt like hours. He lifted his hand and his fingers brushed his lips, not realising he was smiling to himself.
It felt so... strange. His lips almost tickled at the thought of it, he wasn't even sure if it really happened, it went by all so fast. He chuckled to himself, his heart fluttering as his cheeks grew hot. He couldn't understand why he was feeling like this.
He licked his lips and sighed, shaking his head to be rid of the thought while climbing to his feet, walking to the sink and placing his hands on it, leaning down against it.
He looked up, staring at his bruised face and cringing when he finally took notice of the dull pain in his head, grumbling gibberish under his breath as he turned the tap and washed the cold water over his face, wincing at the slight sting it gave his cuts.
He sighed and lay his forehead on the sink, closing his eyes and just thinking, he didn't even know what he was thinking, at that moment all his thoughts were swarming around in his head, not one thought was easily processed.
The one that stood out to him was the thought of how soft his lips were against his own, as well as wondering why he didn't hold the kiss longer.
He wasn't even sure whether it really was a kiss, it all seemed to be a blur in Mark's head, but he knew vividly that he would've done it again.
He eventually pushed himself up and walked to the door, seeing that Duke was no longer on the ground and the main door was wide open. Sean sat in his little enclosure, drawing on the ground with his sharpies.
"You're lips are soft, but they tasted like blood, your blood is divine and rich, I like it" Sean looked up at him momentarily before looking back down at his drawing.
Mark didn't know what to say, he just felt like turning right back around and walking back into the bathroom. "Got nothing to say?" Sean roughly shoved the marker into its cap and tossed it at the glass, before leaning back, putting his hands behind him on the ground so he wouldn't fall, staring at Mark curiously.
Mark remained silent, not knowing how to respond to him, so he just lowered his gaze and walked to the kitchen. "Duke woke up, sadly he's fine, but he left after saying a few naughty words" Sean's tongue clicked against the top palate of his mouth, making a slight loud sound.
"My bed is fucked, but I never sleep in it anyway, so it doesn't really matter" Sean lazily turned his head to look at the destroyed bed before looking back towards Mark.
"That thing we shared, that was just the beginning my friend, I'm already thinking of all the things I could do to you" Sean's tone grew noticeably lower, almost seductive.
Mark felt goosebumps rise at his arms as he bit down on his already split lip, silently hissing at the pain, not speaking or looking at Sean. "Why... Why are you ignoring me? Please! Please notice me!" His tone grew nervous and desperate and Mark held back the urge to look at him.
"Why won't you notice me!? Am I not good enough for you?!" Sean's voice grew angry and mad, Mark quickly looking over at him.
"Finally" he seemed to calm down slightly, but was not fully satisfied. There was a long and painfully awkward silence between them, making Mark shifted and look away, the tension was so thick it could be cut with a knife.
"Mark... say something" Sean sighed.
"What must I say?" Mark asked, looking up at him, a small smile spread over his cheeks as he leaned against the glass. "Anything, I just love the sound of your voice, it's like melting butter" He hummed and Mark felt his cheeks grow warm as he looked down at the cereal he lazily set for himself.
"I wish I wasn't here for my condition... then I could've met you normally and actually become your friend" Sean sighed sadly.
"You are my friend Jack" Mark smiled and Sean chuckled sadly, shaking his head. "That's nice of you to say and all but, you don't have to lie" Sean mumbled, looking back up at Mark.
"I'm serious Jack, you have your moments but you're still human, just because you're different doesn't make you any different from a human" Mark said and Sean smiled to him.
"Thanks Mark... you're really nice" Sean exclaimed, sitting back down with his legs crossed. "Thank you Jacksepticeye, but who knows? Maybe one day you could leave this place, and when that happens, you could play some video games with me?" Mark chuckled and Sean looked up at him with a childish wonderous gaze.
"Really?"
"Yes".
__________
Mark was thankful when Sean fell asleep on his drawings, for once having some silence to work on other things that he had plans for. He would glance up at Sean every once in a while before continuing with his work.
The door opened and Mark looked over to see the enraged Rodney, who stormed over to Mark. "What the fuck happened!?"
"I don't follow?" Mark put down his pen and clasped his hands together as he placed his arms on the desk, looking up at Rodney with raised eyebrows.
"Duke" Rodney said and Mark shrugged. "I told him I was working here and he got all defensive, attacking me" Mark stated and Rodney rolled his eyes, glaring at Mark.
"What about the part when Sean got out!?" Rodepney rose his voice, causing Sean to stir. "He was defending me" Mark stated and Rodney slammed his hand on the desk, staring at Mark threateningly. "He got out, which is your job to prevent that from happening!" Rodney yelled and Mark leaned back in his chair, staring up at Rodney.
"One more flaw and you are out of here! Do I make myself clear?!" Rodney hissed, taking a handful of Marks black shirt. "Yes" Mark sighed, Rodney letting him go and stepping back, fixing his collar.
"What are you looking at?!" Rodney hissed at Sean who glared at him hatefully. "Don't touch him, you filth!" Sean spat and Rodney's eyes narrowed at him.
"Excuse me?"
"You don't have the right to touch my Mark! You disgusting piece of shit! If I can't touch him no one can so step the fuck away from him" Sean seethed, slamming his palm against the glass as he glared at Rodney.
"Excuse me? You think you have the audacity to speak to me like that!?" Rodney began storming towards the glass room, pulling out a baton. Marks eyes widen and he stood from his chair, rushing towards Rodney before he could even pull out the keys.
Mark grabbed the baton and pulled Rodney back, glaring at him. "Don't you dare!" Mark spat. "Mark, get out of my way, he needs to be put in his place!" Rodney glared, he was clearly furious.
"It's not allowed! Don't touch him with that thing! I swear if you lay a finger on him, you'll be the one with bruises on your body" Mark snapped and Rodney huffed, straightening up and putting the baton away, turning his back to the two and walking out.
"Don't trip on your way out, asshole! Your face is ugly enough so don't get it more busted than it already is!" Sean yelled at Rodney who threw a glare over his shoulder at Sean, shutting the door behind him.
