Mark tried to run as fast as he could, desperate to get back to his house, desperate to get away from that maniac. And yet, through all that, he still loved Sean unconditionally, although he couldn't remember everything, he knew that vividly.
The rain was still soft but he knew it was going to become hectic as he looked up at the grey sky, a few rumbles of thunder from above him, but he didn't care, he continued to limp his way through the woods, praying and pleading.
"Everything is awesome, everything is cool when you're part of the team" he heard someone sing and he let out a fearful yelp, beginning to sprint not caring that it only caused him more pain.
"Everything is awesome.... when you're living the dream!" Sean suddenly jumped down from a tree, landing in front of Mark, causing him to run right into him.
"Hey Mark, funny to run into you" Sean grinned, watching as he cowered back, holding his arm, realising that the glass had torn through his clothing and ripped his bandages.
"G-Get away from me!!" Mark demanded, his voice smaller than he had hoped, coming out more as a fearful whimper.
"Why? I just want to love you! Why won't you let me?!" Sean whined, desperation clear in his blue eyes. "You're fucking insane! You're not thinking straight! You'll kill me before you can even love me!" Mark yelled, a little more boldly than he was before.
"How would you know that?!" Sean walked around a tree, watching as Mark tried his best to get away, but Sean followed him. "Because I've seen it first hand!" He stated, lifting his hand and touching his lips, seeing the blood on his fingers, growling.
"Point proven!!" He showed him the blood on his hand, not stopping from his limped walk. "Why are you saying that I did it!?" He snapped, taking a rather large step closer to Mark, beginning to fill him with grieving fear.
"You bit my lip when you tried to 'love me'" he stated, picking up his pace, even though it only made his muscles ache more.
"I did?" Sean's pace slowed down as he glanced at the ground, frowning slightly. Mark didn't respond, trying to get away from him as fast as he could, not daring to look back at him or stop, no matter how much pain was coursing through him.
"I'm... I'm sorry" he said, so quietly that Mark wasn't sure whether he hadn't imagined it, taking the chance and glancing over at Sean, seeing him stare back, his eyes sad and his figure slouched slightly.
Mark's pace slowed down slightly, coming to a stop and staring right back. For at that moment, as he stared into Sean's captivating oceanic blue orbs, he could see the sense of vulnerability and innocence that filled Sean's eyes, watching him like a lost child.
"What?" Mark said, staring at him. "I'm sorry" Sean said, tilting his head slightly, his fingers rubbing his arm sheepishly. Mark didn't speak, only staring at him, not sure how to respond or what to do, all he could do was stare.
"I'm just... sorry" Sean sighed, beginning to walk towards Mark, his head hung slightly. "Don't..." Mark mumbled, feeling unnerved when he realized Sean was coming closer to him.
"What?" Sean stopped, his eyes dampened in sadness, his hands playing with hoody strings, biting on his lip. "I don't want you to come any closer" Mark stepped a few steps away, flinching at the dull pain his movements gave him.
"Uh.... I.... um.... what..." Sean bit down on his lip, getting frustrated, glaring at the ground slightly. "Fuck..." he huffed, pulling at his faded green locks.
The rain started getting harder, Mark looking up at the dark sky, frowning.
He looked back to where Sean was only to let out a cry, seeing Sean directly in front of him, trying to back away quickly, only to slip on the wet mud, yelping, grabbing hold of Sean's shirt, pulling him down with him as he fell on his back, Sean on top of him.
Mark groaned loudly, irritated that this was the second time he had fallen and pulled him down with him. Mark opened his eyes, his brown eyes meeting Sean's eyes, staring into his innocent blue orbs that seemed to stare down into his soft brown ones.
For that moment, he had forgotten that he was trying to run away, forgotten that Sean was mad, forgotten everything. He smiled softly and leaned up, pressing his lips against Sean's gently, gripping the sleeves of Sean's blue jersey.
(You all demanded a bit of fluff so take it or leave it)
Sean yelped behind his lips, the feeling that just a few months prior was so usual to him, seemed unfamiliar to him, it felt new. He liked the sensation it gave him, grabbing a handful of Marks shirt, leaning down more on him, kissing him back eagerly.
The feeling felt more better, more special, more devine than he remembered it to be, he wanted it to last, the feel of Mark's soft lips on his own, the taste of his lips making Sean hungry for more than just a simple kiss.
Sean's lips moved in synchronization with Mark's, the two getting lost in the kiss, the rain still falling on them, drenching the clothing they wore, Mark didn't even notice the pain that was going through him as Sean pressed himself more on Mark.
Mark softly bit Sean's lip, hearing him grunt out in satisfaction, breathing heavily through his nose, frowning as Mark began pulling away, his hand going behind Mark's neck, pulling their lips together again, this time, the kiss becoming a lot more heated than before, the gentle sensation turning more rough and hungry, lust filling both men as they pulled at each other, demanding to be closer.
They pulled away breathlessly, panting heavily, pressing their foreheads together, Sean chuckling through his gasps of air, Mark too beginning to laugh.
"I love you" Mark stated, opening his eyes and looking up into Sean's, seeing the eyes that belonged to his sweetheart that he had fallen so hard for, not that demented maniac that tried to murder him so many times.
Sean's breath caught in his throat, his heart growing ten times bigger, a smile spread across his face, a giant and gleeful smile and not an insane grin that made Mark's skin crawl.
"I love you! I love you! Fuck I love you" Sean smiled in excitement, nodding several times, showering Mark with loving kisses. Mark smiled, reaching his hand up, caressing Sean's cheek gently, Sean leaning into it, smiling widely to him.
Mark traced his thumb over Sean's lip, smiling softly. Mark brushed his wet locks out of his eyes, watching as he giggled.
That's when the pain hit him, groaning out, gritting his teeth together, lifting his chin and pressing his head into the ground, raising his arms and holding them in front of him, not knowing what to hold on his body, everything hurt.
"M-Mark?" Sean began panicking, standing up and pulling Mark up, putting his arm over his shoulder, helping him walk.
Sean stopped when he saw the street, the rain pounding down on their bodies, making them slightly heavier. He remembered where Mark lived, carrying Mark, telling him he was going to be okay, trying to keep Mark as calm as he could, as well as himself.

They were able to reach the house, Mark groaning loudly in pain, limping along with Sean. "You're okay! We're here!" Sean tried to cheer him up, trying to open the door, realising it was locked.
"Fuck! Wait, where's the..." he told Mark to lean on the wall as he felt along the door frame, trying to find the spare key, smiling widely when he felt the cold object, picking it up and unlocking the door, helping Mark in, laying him on the couch, rushing around the rooms, looking for something to aid to Mark's wounds.
He found a few medical supplies and his eyes landed on his medication, staring at it for the longest moment before he glared, grabbing them and throwing them in the trash.
