Chapter Ten

I opened my eyes, and I found myself in a strange room. I have no idea how I got there. And instead of a bed, I was resting in a coffin. I slid out of coffin, and I noticed that I didn't have on Pajamas, but an elegant black mermaid dress with a sweetheart neck line. It was also adorned with diamonds above the waist. I rushed to the full body mirror, and I was shocked when I saw myself.

My skin was as pale as death and flawless. My figure was more curvy and slender than I remembered. My hair was in a side swept style and my eyes, my God my eyes. The were no longer gold but a frightening crimson color. What happened to me? I looked gorgeous yet frightening.

I decided to find Yui. Maybe she changed as drastically as I did. I can't remember how I got in bed or anything before.

As soon as I opened the door, I could hear voices. One of them being Yui. There were down stairs. I rushed towards the voices. They were talking about me.

When I got to them, the first person I instinctively looked for was Laito. He was staring at me. Everyone was. I looked at Yui and gasped.

She changed. Her skin was just as pale and unblemished as mine was. Her blond hair was longer and was an almost white color. Her figure was shaped more like an hourglass. But thankfully, her beautiful eyes were the same. She was beautiful. I sighed in relief.

"Yui, what's going on?" I asked, not approaching her.

"Well, Ikaros... umm." She looked so sad.

"You are both newborn vampires now," Reiji said bluntly.

"A lot things happened while you were sleep," Yui said. "You were asleep for a month."

My jaw hit the floor.

"What? How? Why?"

"Your body were fighting your transformation. Fortunately, your body lost the struggle otherwise, you would be dead right now," Reiji said without emotion.

I didn't know what I was supposed to say. I'm not human anymore. That fact scared and thrilled me at the same time.

"What happens now that I'm awoke?"

"You chose one of us," Shu said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You are a bride and now you must chose your groom." Another voice said.

I turned around to see the most elegant man I have ever seen in my life. He was tall and strong. He resembled Subaru the most out of the seven. His beautiful white hair fell pass his waist. His pale skin was clear and soft. And his eyes, his eyes were a beautiful furious red. He was a flawless being.

"I am Karl Heinz," he said as he took my hand. I was frozen. "A pleasure to meet you." He placed a gentle kiss on my hair.

I stared wide eyed at him. How can a man be so beautiful? He smirked. I looked deeply in his eyes, and I saw that hidden wickedness. I slowly walked backwards away from him. The aura around him was powerfully and dark. I was terrified by this extraordinary King of the dark.
