Chapter 17: who are you?

//Erica

"It seems like you got yourself into a serious situation." AJ stated as she sipped her coffee.

"I don't see anything wrong here, in my opinion." Paige added. "It's just breakfast. The two of you have gone out for breakfast a lot of times."

"That was before he hurt Dean." I pointed out.

After last night, I've been stressing out over everything all morning. What the hell was I thinking? Agreeing to have breakfast with Seth? After he almost killed my bother? And me?

Okay maybe I over exaggerated with him 'killing' my brother. But I wasn't over exaggerating with the fact he could've killed me last night in the car.

"Can I just stay here and pretend that I was murdered?" I groaned and dropped my head onto the table.

"Erica, it's just for one morning." AJ placed her hand on my arm.

"What could go wrong?" Paige shrugged.

"Don't jinx it." I said sharply. I looked at the time on clock and pushed myself out of my seat.

"Rollins will be here any minute." Paige announced. "You don't want to keep him waiting, now."

"I actually do want to keep him waiting, mother." I muttered and rolled my eyes.

"Don't speak to me like that, young lady!" She called after me.

"Don't tell me what to do!" I shouted back and slammed the door. With a laugh, I walked over to my suit case and picked out a random outfit to wear. I settled with a loose white shirt and a pair of burgundy jeans, along with a denim jacket and my white Converse. I messily braided my hair to the side and slipped on my glasses.

"Honey! Seth's here!" Paige's voice shouted from the kitchen.

"You don't have to shout, Mom." I shot, walking out of my room.

"Hey, E." Seth greeted with a smile. He was wearing denim jeans with a plain black t shirt, accompanied by some Vans and eye glasses.

"Simple." I commented. "Very simple."

"Simple..." He nodded towards my outfit. "And cute."

"Ew. Cute is an insult." I crossed my arms. "Thought you would know that by now."

"All I know by now is that your extremely confusing." Seth muttered.

"Now kids," Paige said slinging her arms over our shoulders. "Just enjoy yourselves, alright? And don't stay out for too long."

"Yes mother." I groaned and walked out the door with Seth not too far behind.

"How is your morning so far?" Seth said once he caught up with me.

"Well, it was fine until you walked through the door." I replied nonchalantly.

"Okay that really hurt."
