3 Days Later

Your POV:

It's been 3 days since I took the pregnancy tests. I grabbed the box from under the bed, as soon as I opened it, I wasn't surprised. All 4 tests said positive, and one said CONGRATS, of course it was the electronic one. I cried not in fear, not in sadness, but pure happiness. I never thought of a family either, like Jake. But I couldn't help myself. That's the first thing I want to do when he comes home.

I want to tell Jake that I took a pregnancy test three days ago, and they all read positive! I was just pouring tears, but then I heard the front door down stairs shut. I turned around.

"Jake! Come here!" Silence was heard.

He usually yells he's home, but I heard nothing. I stood up when I heard footsteps up the stairs.

"Jake?"

Jake's POV:

"Hey Jonas, where's Y/N, is she in her office?" I walked up to the front desk.

I would usually see her pass by me, and tell me goodnight while clocking in, but she want there.

"Um, no. I haven't seen her clock in yet."

"Okay. If anything call me when she clocks in."

"Gyllenhaal you're worrying too much." Jonas shook her head like it was nothing.

"It's my wife." I pushed open the front door and hurried over to my car.

I honestly went a little too fast, almost running into three fucking cars. When I got to my house, I slammed on the breaks, and jumped out. I could see the room light on, and sighed in relief. But that didn't fully settle me, I need to see her. When I walked up the drive way I saw black tire marks draw crooked lines out of the drive way. I furrowed my brows, and looked at the door...I noticed it was open.

"Oh no." I grabbed my gun from my jacket, and looked around.

I gently pushed the door open, looking around twice. I shook my head.

"Y/N! Baby yell if you're there!"

Nothing.

"C'mon Y/N, stop fucking around!!"

I looked through the kitchen, our small back yard. I looked in rooms down, and upstairs. That's when I finally went to our room. I opened the door, pointing the gun in all directions that I could, and actually looked at the room. There was a sign of one struggle, there was a dent in the wall, and one of her hunting knives there too.

Looking down, I saw a box half open on the ground. I got on my knees and started pleading to God in tears, that she will be alright. Maybe she went to the hospital cause she felt really sick. Maybe her phones dead and that's why she didn't answer any of my calls from earlier. No–she's gone. I don't know where she is. Someone..took her.

I looked at the box again, and grabbed it. I opened it, and to my surprise-pregnancy tests? I know it's Y/N's, but how long ago did she take this. I looked around, and in her drawer I found 4 boxes and a receipt. She got these three days ago. I didn't look if they were positive or not, but I went over to check again. And surely enough, they all read positive, and one said congratulations. I cried again knowing that she's gone, and pregnant. But the only thing also motivating me was that I was gonna be a Dad.
