I hugged Maya so tightly. I was ecstatic that she could see, hear, and feel me. It was unexplainable and confusing, but overall it was amazing. I had my Maya back, and nothing else would come between us... I looked at her for the longest time. I missed the way those beautiful ocean blue eyes used to look into mine. So beautiful. "Maya, I missed this, so much." I said as I put my hand on her heart. The beat of her heart accelerated as I touched her. I was just happy it was beating at all. "You have no idea, how badly I missed this... Us." She smiled as she said the word us. "I don't want you to ever leave me again, Campbell, do you hear me?" I smiled at her and kissed her softly. "I'm not going to let anyone, or anything ever come between us again Maya." I said as I put her hair behind her ear. She smiled charmingly at me. I missed that beautiful smile... Maya yawned loudly, "you need to rest love." I whispered. She nodded her head sleepily and curled up in a ball, instantly falling asleep. I layed beside her and watched her sleep peacefully. I wasn't quite sure what I was, but I never got tired anymore, and I was never hungry... I had all this time on my hands to watch over Maya, and the thought of that made me smile, because that's all I wanted to do.
