                               Cam's POV

I was confused as to why Maya was crying again, I thought we were having a happy moment. Every tear pricked at my heart. I held her tightly, whispering soothing things to her, running my fingers through her messy hair. I felt my jacket getting set from her tears. "Maya, baby what's wrong?" She gently pulled sway, wiping her tears, and reached for my hands, holding them tightly in hers. She looked up at me through glassy eyes, "I just.. wish you were still her physically, at least for the baby." She let a few tears escape. I felt my heart cracking. I hated thinking that my daughter would never see me... "Maya... You don't know how much it kills me thinking that our daughter will never know me..." I pulled away from her, and as I did she stopped me. "Stop running from me, Campbell. That is what is tearing us apart.." she squeezed my hand in hers. "I'm sorry.. I'm working on that." I said as I looked at our hands. "Try harder." She pleaded with me. I looked into her eyes, and pulled her close to me, embracing her in my arms. I kissed her deeply, never wanting this moment to end.

                                 Maya's POV

I woke up the next morning and I felt Cam's arms around me and I couldn't help but smile. I gently turned over, careful not to wake him. He was shirtless with messy hair. He was so beautiful... I kissed him gently and I felt him smile. He opened his eyes and sat up quickly, gasping. "Cam, what's wrong!?" I sat up carefully, "Maya I slept!" He grinned. "Yeah? Most people d-" I stopped mid sentence as the thought hit me. Cam was an angel... He didn't need to sleep. "What does this mean for you?" I looked at him. He scratched the back of his head, and pursed his lips. "I'm not sure..." He was glowing again. I loved that. "Maya, are you awake?" I heard Katie shout through the door before opening it. "You've got company down stairs." She said before looking at me, but I noticed she wasn't looking at me, she was looking at Cam, and as she did, her face seemed to turn pale, and she covered her mouth with both of her hands. "Katie... Can you.. can you see him?" I looked at her curiously. She nodded and slowly walked closer to him. "H-how are you e-even here..?" She reached out to touch him, recoiling when she felt the skin of his chest. Cam looked at Katie, smiling widely. "Katie, I don't know how you can see me, but I'm so glad you can!" He hugged her tightly, "woah there Cam... Just because I can see you doesn't mean I'm happy to!" She pulled away.

                                     Cam's POV

"Look, Katie, I know I messed up but you have to admit that it's cool that it seems like I'm coming back... As if I was given a second chance." I pondered on that thought. I couldn't explain what was going on, but if Katie could see me, I was curious to know who else could see me as well. I looked at Maya, "I wonder if you're mom can see me..." Maya cocked her head, "yeah but I seriously think she'd have a heart attack if she saw you," Maya said. "Not only that, but if she sees your boyfriend shirtless in bed with you then she will really lose it." Katie said. I grabbed my shirt and slipped it on, and pulled in my Ice Hounds hoodie. "Well we need to see who can see me... This is so weird." I said as I got out of bed, "Cam, you're not seriously going to show my mom that you're here, are you?" Maya looked at me in disbelief. "Why not? After everything she's said about me to you, I deserve to show her that I have been here the whole time." I said as I walked towards Maya's door. The moment of truth was here. If Maya's mom could see me, I don't know how to explain what was going on... I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen to find Maya's mom making breakfast. She was facing the opposite direction, so she couldn't see me. "Maya, is that you? I'm making you a big breakfast." She slowly turned her wheel chair so that she was facing me. I smiled and waved softly, "Hello Mrs. Matlin. It's been too long." As I said that, she dropped the trey off food and clasped her hands to her mouth in horror.
