                                 Cam's POV

Maya had been out of the hospital for weeks now, and she was better then ever, which made my heart smile. I watched her, as she still sleeped peacefully. I lay quietly beside her, careful not to wake her. I watched her chest carefully rise and fall. When she opened her eyes a huge grin stretched across her face. "Well, good morning Miss beautiful Maya Matlin." I said with a smile. She rubbed her eyes sleepily and outstretched her arms. "Good morning Mr handsome Campbell Saunders." She sat up on the bed. I looked at her for a long time, admiring her cute bed hair, and sleepy blue eyes. I loved every single one of Maya's flaws. "So what shall we do today Cam? There is a fair in town tonight." She said, "um, yeah. We can go to the fair." Maya and I had done a lot of fun things lately to keep her happy. That's what was most important to me, was her happiness. Maya jumped up from the bed. "You hungry super star?" She asked me, always forgetting that I didn't have to eat. I scratched the back of my head awkwardly, "uhh..." She frowned, "right... I forgot, you're dead." Tears fell down her face. I jumped up quickly towards her and wiped away her tears. "I may be dead, but I am still here with you, remember that." I held her close to me. "Right... But everyone thinks I'm crazy because no one can see you but me.. it just isn't the same." Her voice broke through the tears, "but I'd rather have you like this then not have you at all." She looked up at me with sad eyes. My heart ached so much everytime Maya cried over my death. I had caused her this pain, and I would never forgive myself for it.
