Chapter 4
(Adeline again.)
It was surprisingly cold that evening, so we all sat in the living room, watching TV. It was really nice, especially since Ariana, Nathan and Grandma where there. Toulouse was curled up on my lap, his legs twitching sometimes.
Ariana was curled up on the sofa with Nathan, her arms around his shoulders as she pulled the blanket up over herself. Grandma sat on the other sofa, and I sat on the floor.
It's was pretty late, but we still hadn't eaten, so I knew I would be able to stay up late. Finally Nathan got up, he removed Ariana's arms from around him, she must have fallen asleep. Slowly he come to me, 'come on Princess, lets go and order some food.'
I nodded, picking Toulouse up I placed him on the floor and took Nathan's outstretched hand. 'What we having Daddy?' He seemed surprised too, was it really a surprise that I called my new parents Mum and Dad?
He shrugged as he lifted me by the waist as lifted me onto the black granite island. 'What do you want Princess, your choice.' I thought about it for a moment before answering.
'Can we have pizza please Dad?' I picked the leaflet up off of the counter and skimmed it. 'See.' I tossed it to him gently, and effortlessly he caught it and had a quick read.
'Ok, what pizza do you want? I know your mum will want Margarita, but what do you want?' I noticed carelessly how he said mum instead of mom.
I thought for a moment, 'meat feast please. Oh and daddy, are you English?' He nodded and I held up my hand for a high five, 'me too!'
'Ok pumpkin, come on, lets go wake your mum.' I hopped off the counter and hurried to the other room, ready to wake Ariana, except she was already sat up and rubbing her eyes. She was smiling as she looked at me.
She held her arms out, 'come on then baby.' I crawled under to warm blanket and gave her a big hug. 'Oh I love you so much.' I hugged her even tighter when she said that. 'Its going to be hard going back to work tomorrow.'
Shooting her a puzzled look I wiped a hair away from my face, 'what is your job?' I remembered it was Sunday, school started tomorrow.
Laughing lightly Ariana picked up a CD off of the table. 'Im an actress, and a singer, this is my first album.' She handed it to me and I read the cover, yours truly. I looked up at her surprised.
'Thats really cool. What acting do you do? What shows?'
She laughed at my eagerness, 'a show called Victorious, and another called Sam and Cat. I've also done a movie recently, called Swindle.'

That night, after I had eaten I climbed the stairs wearily and practically crawled to my bedroom. I barely managed a shower before changing into my new PJs and hopping into bed.
Ariana came up a few minutes later and sat on the bed beside me. She kissed the top of my head as said goodnight before walking out and turning the light off.

After I re-read this I realised how short it was, so I apologise for that, and I will upload double. This is only a filler chapter though so don't worry.
You got to see Nathan's "Dad" reaction, ad it seems like Adeline is growing very attached to Toulouse. Any ways please comment and vote. :D
Fun fact: my favourite pizza is anything with meat on it. Especially when it is homemade dough. Yum?
