Chapter 6: Fight

[Later on that same day]

I make my way to the mess hall and just as I was about open the door, someone opened it for me. It was a woman who had light brown hair and glasses.

"Oh hello there! You must be Ruby." She greeted me and invited me in. I guessed that she was Hanji.

When I walked in I saw Eren sitting at a table with a girl with short strawberry blonde hair and captain Levi who seemed to be playing chess, the blonde was losing. Hanji decided to introduce me to every one

"Hey everyone! This here Ruby Arrow!" The blonde looked up from the game and Eren looked at me. The blonde smiled at me

"Hello my name is Petra." She said to me with a warm smile. Eren walked over to me

"Hey Ru." He says

"Heh Ru?" I laugh. He looked at me confused

"What's so funny?" He asks

"Oh it's just that... I haven't been called Ru since.... since..." I trail off when I realize when the last time I've been called Ru "You know what never mind." I quickly say before he starts asking questions.

"Just say what your gonna say." I look over to captain Levi and he still wasn't looking at me, Hanji seemed to notice and so did Patra

"Levi look at people when your talking to them. Especially her because look at how petite her little body is." Hanji states while forcefully twirling me around. That seemed to get his attention

'Creep.' I thought

[Levi's POV]

I look at the girl who's name is Ruby and notice that four eyes wasn't wrong about her body being petite or little. I couldn't see how this little girl could have made the top 10 in her graduating class.

Then I notice that she's almost as tall as me 'damn it!' I think. I also notice that she lightly blushed when four eyes called her body Petite

"OK then. Just say what your gonna say." I repeat

"No it's just I don't really want to talk about it." She replied

"Does it have something to with your past?" Eren asked, she nods, Eren looks at me "She doesn't really like talking about her past. She once knocked Jean to the ground just because he wouldn't leave her alone about is." He tells me. She smiles

"Heh yeah. He wasn't so hard to knock him down." She laughs. I roll my eyes, I don't believe that story at all

"I don't believe you." They both look at me and Eren even gasps " What? I mean really. How could someone as small as her could knock someone bigger than her to the ground?" I point out

"Well your the one to talk Levi. Besides she's almost as tall as you." Petra points out. I glare at Petra then look back at Ruby

"Fine then.... prove it." I say. She looks up at me with confusion

"What?" She ask, I roll my eyes and sigh

"I said prove it, fight Eren right now and maybe than I'll believe you." I repeat, then I see Hanji get that look on her face.

"I have a better idea." She says in a sing - song voice

"Tch. What know crazy bitch?" I spat getting a little annoyed with the conversation

"Why don't you fight her?" She answered, I thought it over in my head, for a few seconds

"Sure why not." I finally answer. Ruby didn't seem to object to the idea of fighting me, or fighting Eren for that matter. We created an empty space in the middle of the room with enough space to fight. We get into our fighting stance's and I notice that hers is a bit weird, in fact it looks like she standing on something very thin or small like a wire. With her left leg in font and her right leg directly behind it with a space between them

"OK the rules are simple." Hanji begins "Knock your opponent on the ground and keep them there for 3 seconds and first person to do that wins." She finishes "Begin." She adds.

[Back to Ruby's POV]

He runs at me and kicks me in the hip, I stumble but regain my composure quickly And run at him to attempt to punch him but he dodges it and swings to hit me in the stomach, but I dodge and kick him in the stomach instead, he stumbles back ward a little then gets back into it quickly.

I kick him in the face, but as soon as I do he grabs my ankle with one hand my lower calf with the other, then all at once with full force he spins my body to the ground. Face down I use my leg to trip him as I jolt up back on my feet, he attempt's to the same but I flip out the way just in time. I notice the others looking at me wide eyes

"She's like a professional acrobat." I hear Petra mumble, a chill went down my spine when she said that, then I quickly focus back to the fight. Perfect timing to, because Levi was coming at me already. But this time he held part of his cloak in one hand and made it look like he was going to punch me again, I prepared to block it, but once he got close enough he dramatically threw part of his cloak up in the air so that it covered both of our faces. However that's not what surprised me.

What surprised me the most was that for what seemed like a split second, his lips seemed to purposely crash in to mine then he swung his fist to punch me but I blocked it. His eyes widened as I kicked him in the stomach and as I didn't seem phased by what he just did. I let go of his arm then kicked him in the balls. He fell on the ground when I did that and didn't seem to stand up after that. I look over at Hanji and point down to Levi

"Does that count as on the ground for 3 seconds" I ask, she nods with a smile on her face

"1,2,3 you lose Levi." She adds looking down at Levi. I kneel down to look at him face to face (he was sitting up now) he looks at me with a straight face. I raise my hand and slap him on the cheek, leaving red mark on his face. I walk away leaving him wide eyed at my actions and hear the others gasp. Its then that I notice that someone was clapping, it was commander Erwin and that guy from earlier, they were both clapping for me and were both smiling at me.
