We all waited for the commanders orders to move out 'please god let me come back alive so I can see my friends and family again.' I prayed silently in my head Captain Levi seemed to notice
"Cadet Arrow. Get your head out of the clouds and focus on today's objective." He ordered, I nodded and looked ahead
"The fifty-seventh exposition out side the walls begins now!!" I hear Erwin yell as we start moving 'and so it begins.' I think as we head out at full speed
[Time skip]
I suddenly see red smoke appear to the far right of me then green smoke to the far left, and begin to get a terrible feeling 'am I going to have to end up doing our diversion plan?' I think remembering what Erwin and Levi told me in private
[Flashback]
I step into Commander Erwin's office, he looks up at me
"Ruby you can take seat." He says, I take a seat when captain Levi enters the room
"Tch. Let's get this over with." He says in his normal monotonous voice, I see Erwin chuckle a little at Levi
"Ruby, do you know why you where called to my office at this late hour?" He questions,
"No sir." I reply shaking my head
"The reason your here is because if something goes wrong tomorrow during the expedition, you will have to engage yourself in whatever goes wrong." He pauses, I look at him wide eyed and notice that Captain Levi also seemed shocked but his face went back to being expressionless when he noticed me looking at him. It was clear he didn't know about this anymore than I did
