The rest of the day so far turned out to be pretty smooth actually, after English, I didn't have to deal with Dan anymore, not because we didn't have any classes together, but simply because he just didn't show up, oh well. It was my gain really. Recess I spent with my friends, geography and PE were a breeze, but now it was lunchtime. I really didn't want to waste my time tonight doing this paper that Dan screwed me on so I thought it would be better to finish it up in the library because I wouldn't have had time to finish it when I got home.

I sat down in the corner of the room where no one would look for me, Even though I was a cheerleader, I did appreciate the library. It was quiet and full of knowledge, I could read books for days. I pulled out my laptop and started to type away, because I had written it before, I knew what I needed to say and the arguments I had laid out, so this wasn't going to take too long. My phone started to buzz next to me. I picked it up and opened the screen to see a number I recognized, yet didn't have saved to my contacts.

"Hey so I scored your number off one of your cheerleader friends. She's totally into me so it wasn't hard to get. anyway. Wanna meet up tonight to start that assignment since we only have a short time to complete it?

- Dan"

Wow. He was exploiting someone's feelings just to get my number, I had no idea who gave it to him though since at least half the squad was totally into him. I rolled my eyes and typed a response before closing it and returning to my work. I only had another 15 minutes to complete it before the bell rang for the next class.

"Can't, got stuff to do tonight"

The time went by pretty quickly but I managed to finish everything except my finishing statement, but I could finish that off in the morning just before I hand it in. I started to place my laptop into my bag as the bell rang for next period. Art. It was a class I simply loved, not that I was an exceptional artist or anything, I just loved the concept of colour and design, and it was quiet, normally anyway. I sat down in the back of the class and pulled out y drawing pad just waiting for instruction, the teacher, Mr. Glasgow was about to begin the class when a bunch of the football team decided to invade the class. Oh I didn't mention that did i. Yeah. About 5 of the people from the football team were in my class, and not just the quiet ones, oh no. The loud obnoxious ones. The reason I said it was normally quiet was because they never turned up. but today just wasn't my day now was it?.

I didn't acknowledge the person who sat next to me, but I already knew who it was. The teacher began to talk after being rudely disrupted, so I paid attention to him instead.

"Alright guys, this week I want you to come up with a piece that reflects the the things that you love. Your hobbies, your interests, whatever it is, draw or paint it down. this assessment will be due in a weeks time so make sure that it's not late. Especially for those who never seem to turn up"

He was glaring at the jocks as he said this, I'm glad he was though because Art was something I used as an escape, and the fact that they were wasting my time as well as the teacher's was annoying me greatly. I started to think about the things that I was interested in. I loved books, games, comics, superheroes and villains. I decided to do a drawing of my favourite villain, Poison Ivy and then give her a set of robes from harry potter, she would be carrying books and standing next to a table stacked with video games. I was getting excited. I started to draw out the outline of Poison Ivy when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I placed my pencil down and stared at the person next to me.

"What?"

"Wow, rude much. Why won't you see me later today?"

"Because Dan, Unlike you, I actually have things to do."

"Well I mean, It is practice day, Cheer leading i mean, you have it the same day we have football practice. That short skirt you sit in looks mighty fine when you're bending over"

"You're a pig. I'm working on this, so leave me alone. I'll contact you when I need to"

I pulled out a pair of headphones and plugged them into my phone, maybe i could drown him out with music. He kept trying to look over my shoulder to see what I was drawing but I keep closing the lid. He didn't need to know what I was into, not that he could figure that out from an outline. I just really don't want to spend more time than I have to with this guy, He really was quite the jerk.
