I know daily edits aren't exactly a thing, my life is insane right now and I guess I didn't really think about that... I'm going to update as much as possible but I want the chapters to be as good as they can be so maybe not everyday, I'm so sorry!

"You still won't answer my questions about the other day!" I exclaim still seething over how well Dexter manages to dodge every bullet thrown his way.

"I don't know what you're talking about, now sit." Dexter says gesturing to the well worn leather recliner.

I glare up at Dexter, lowering myself onto the soft leather.

I run my fingers over the soft brown, "you like my chair?"

"I'm not answering any questions until you answer mine." I say crossing my arms over my chest, heart racing I study Dexter's face. Is he mad? What if he tells Theo?

"Actually you'll ask all of my questions and stop asking your own." Dexter says dismissively, "now wh-."

"No! I don't want to just be kept in the dark forever why can't you just tell me what happened in that godforsaken room?"  I cry out, regretting every word. If before didn't make him mad then this certainly did.

"Why are you so changeable?" Dexter asks as if I didn't just lose it completely, his eyes locked on mine I squirm in my seat.

"Why does it concern you?" I say bluntly, my last two comments must've made him mad, might as well keep poking the bear.

"I have my reasons." Came a snarky reply.

"So do I." I say folding my arms daring Dexter to keep going.

"You don't get to answer that." My blood boils, I don't get to say that? I thought in other packs people could do and say as they pleased without being snapped at.

"Why not?" I ask stubbornly folding my arms over my chest talk about a double standard.

"Because you're the one being questioned."

"I've never agreed to being questioned."

"Too bad, now answer the question."

"I-I d-d-don't know." I stumble losing my resolve.

"Wrong, that's the answer you gave my brother."

My eyes snap up to his, "it's the only answer."

"My brother believed that because you're his mate, however I am not so easily deceived. So you will tell me why or neither of us are moving." Dexter says taking a small step towards the recliner.

"What happens when your mate gets home?" I say desperate for anything to distract him, mates are normally inseparable right? At least that's what I've heard.

"Nothing." His response was clipped, I watch his hands twitch, he's starting to lose it.

"Won't you want to spend time with her?" I try again very aware of the fire building behind Dexter's eyes.

"I will, but only if you start cooperating."

"I am."

"If you were cooperating we'd be done by now." I open my mouth to reply but he cuts me off, "I want answers. Not the little scared stutters you gave my brother real proper answers."

I gulp, Dexter's eyes search my face. He's trying to find weakness something to tell him his suspicions are correct. Too bad he won't find anything.

"What do you want to know?" I ask with a sigh if I tell Dexter everything maybe both boys will finally stop being so uptight.

"What is your name?"
