It's a little short but I'm still getting back into the swing of things, look out for sixteen and seventeen later today or tomorrow!

fifteen

"I can't believe she's lasted this long." A voice from my right whispered just loud enough for me to hear.

"I know right, like who does she think she is?" Came a snarky reply as twenty-two pairs of eyes fell on me.

I bite my lip not quite sure how to react, being taunted is pretty normal I guess - school doesn't really change wherever you go. I just never expected it to get worse because of my position, it felt like somehow even if I was queen of the world someone would still find a reason to taunt me.

Barely a week into school and things have already changed, I can see it. In his posture, the way he holds himself how he watches me, with each passing day the intensity in his eyes dies away.

I still haven't figured out what it is, maybe he's started to realise how weak I really am, or maybe he just doesn't want me and this is his way of distancing himself.

Whatever it is Theo changes, it's like the moment we step into school a switch flicks and suddenly I'm non-existent and unnecessary, simply a doll without any feelings.

Some days he's right, some days I flick the switch, let it all go. Theo doesn't even notice, but who would blame him? He's so busy with being an Alpha he doesn't really have time for a mate.

Dexter on the other time has oodles of time, so much so that he notices when I wear different socks or forget to brush my teeth. The things your mate would notice...

"Isabelle!" I jump up ready to run as the voice continues to yell my name drawing closer with every syllable. "Would you relax it's me."

I turn around eyes squinted, "Dexter? What are you doing here it's the middle of school."

He raises his eyebrows as his eyes travel up and down my body, "look who decided to be a Luna today."

I clench my fists glaring at him, "i-it's not a d-decision."

"Aaaaaand the stutter is back!" Dexter says holding his phone up to his mouth as a makeshift microphone. "Anyway why aren't you in class miss Isabelle, I could have you detention for the rest of the week."

I stare up at Dexter, "w-what do you m-mean?" I stutter shrivelling back into my old self.

"I mean that skipping class isn't against the rules, and when you break rules you get punished."

My heart pounds, my hands shake, everything goes black.

"P-please s-s-stop!" I say weakly raising both hands above my head.

"Silly girl, you can't surrender, this isn't a fight." My father laughs at my pathetic attempt to deter him. "I'm doing this for your own good, what you did was against the rules, and when you break the rules you get punished." He stares down at me raising his fists. "Do you know what rules you broke?"

"I-I w-w-was late t-t-."

"Would you stop stuttering you Omega!" My father's spit lands right on my cheek, a big drop of saliva.

I gulp, "I-I can't help i-it."

"Because you're weak, because you're an Omega."

"Yes, Beta." I reply bowing my head and lowering my hands.

"Now tell me what rules you broke."

"I-I made eye c-contact with y-you and b-breathed when I w-was told not t-to."
